Of that figure, $76.59 million in long positions and $29.98 million in short positions were liquidated—placing ZEC’s liquidation volume just behind only Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) among major cryptocurrencies. In the same 24-hour period, ZEC contract trading volume surged 89.28% to $11.55 billion, while open interest dropped 38.56% to $836 million.
