Binance has reopened BTC withdrawals on the Bitcoin network.

Binance announced in a post that, as part of its ongoing security response measures, the platform has updated its Proof of Reserves (PoR) address list by adding newly generated wallet addresses. All future withdrawals will be uniformly processed through these new addresses.

According to HTX market data, Bitcoin has rebounded to break through the $78,000 mark, with a 0.93% gain in the past 24 hours.

CZ stated in a post that U.S. law enforcement agencies provided critical support during the Binance security incident, including tracking and freezing stolen assets. Participating agencies include the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Secret Service (USSS), and Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), among others. CZ added that a single tweet was insufficient to fully convey his gratitude to law enforcement, noting that some crypto market participants may not realize Bitcoin’s lack of a steeper price drop after the incident is also attributable to these agencies.

Binance today resumed Phase 1 withdrawal services from 14:00 to 17:00 UTC (06:00 to 09:00 UTC), with the first batch supporting networks and assets including BTC, ETH, BNB, TRX, SOL, XRP, ZEC, DOGE, TON, POL, AVAX, ARB, BASE, OP, and SUI. Deposit services remain open and were not affected by the incident. The exchange stated that the withdrawal resumption will be phased: specific assets and networks are prioritized based on user demand data from the past week, and will be rolled out gradually after security and stability checks are completed. Other networks and assets will be restored sequentially once ready. Due to high initial traffic, some users may face withdrawal delays or failures and are advised to retry later. Binance has now covered approximately 95% of the affected amount from the recent hack, an increase from the previously announced 90%. The remaining ~5% consists of tokens outside the top 10 assets. Owing to their low market liquidity, Binance is still procuring these via market and over-the-counter (OTC) channels, with more time needed to reach the required size.
