Following SkyAI’s massive sell-off of SOL, major shareholders have raised questions about the acquisition offer and demanded the company provide full disclosure.

Nasdaq-listed company SkyAI, which centers its digital asset reserves on Solana, previously held over 2 million SOL tokens. Since October, the firm has transferred around 1.57 million SOL, valued at roughly $175 million; SkyAI disclosed it recently sold 1 million SOL for approximately $107 million, and noted it may continue selling. On-chain data shows its average purchase price was around $194, with an unrealized loss of over $160 million based on recent prices. A Form 8-K filed on October 13 revealed the company’s SOL holdings had dropped to roughly 600,000 tokens, a nearly 70% reduction from the "over 2 million" figure cited in mid-September. The timing of the sales, average transaction price, and approval process were not fully disclosed to shareholders previously. Major shareholder Bastion Trading, which holds approximately 9.99% of outstanding common shares, issued a statement today expressing serious concerns over SkyAI’s cash tender offer announced on October 11, stating it will not participate until its concerns are adequately addressed. The firm demanded immediate full disclosure of SOL disposal details, an independent review, a board restructuring, and an increase of the tender offer price from $3.00 per share to at least $3.50 per share, among other requests. Bastion Trading also noted that at the 2026 annual general meeting, all five incumbent directors received far more abstentions than votes in favor, with some ratios approaching 3-to-1, questioning whether the current board, having lost shareholder confidence, still leads the sale of core reserves and the tender offer.

Osmosis Proposes to Halt OSMO Inflation Issuance, Targets On-Chain Vote on October 20

Osmosis official announcement: Its community forum has launched a proposal discussion titled "Terminate OSMO Inflation Issuance". The mint module will no longer issue new OSMO tokens daily, with all staking rewards sourced solely from protocol revenue. At the current burn rate, roughly 2% of the token supply is burned annually, with no new issuance to offset this. The target on-chain date for the proposal is October 20. The forum proposal also states that daily developer vesting releases will be suspended, leaving around 51.9 million OSMO tokens in the vesting module account; any future releases will require separate governance approval.

StarkWare supports Polymarket users in placing anonymous orders, and has newly launched OffMarket.

StarkWare has opened OffMarket to the public, allowing users to trade on Polymarket without publicly linking their positions to existing accounts. The service has been in limited beta testing since August, leveraging zero-knowledge technology and sharing a privacy pool on Starknet. Current per-account deposit limits are set at 1,000 USDC, with adjustments planned based on demand. Prediction orders still execute on Polymarket with the same counterparties and at identical market prices. The service is non-custodial, with user keys remaining stored locally in users’ browsers. Additionally, Polymarket transaction records are public on Polygon, with positions, order sizes, and trading history all viewable. OffMarket still does not fully prevent others from inferring a trader’s identity through trade size or timing, as market quotes and executions themselves remain public. This product is not an official Polymarket offering, has no formal partnership or special access privileges, and is part of Polymarket’s Verified Builder Program, retaining its geographic restrictions including a ban on U.S. users. Independent compliance firm Financial Privacy Inc. holds the master viewing key for sanction screening and required disclosures under lawful requests. L2BEAT data shows that the shared privacy pool on Starknet currently holds approximately $1.5 million in total value across 17,000 deposits.

AI Stock Guru Leopold Fund holds Anthropic, and may face compliance risks after the AI firm goes public.

"AI stock guru" Leopold’s fund Situational Awareness LP holds private equity in Anthropic, while his wife Avital Balwit serves as chief of staff to Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei. Recent reports indicate Anthropic could go public as early as next month, with a valuation potentially reaching up to $2 trillion. Once publicly traded, Leopold, due to his close ties with the company’s executives, may have access to material non-public information, exposing related transactions to federal regulatory risks such as insider trading. Compliance experts recommend that the compliance departments of both parties disclose this relationship, obtain prior approval for transactions related to Anthropic, submit written declarations confirming no use of non-public information, implement blackout periods around earnings releases, and ideally, Leopold himself refrain from participating in Anthropic trading decisions. The Situational Awareness LP fund declined to comment on the matter, but is reportedly adding compliance staff. Anthropic stated separately that it already has industry-standard policies for conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and insider trading.
