According to TradingBeats' monitoring, a whale with the address starting with 0x9e2c has been continuously opening long positions in WTI crude oil from last night to the past half hour, accumulating purchases worth around $22.0817 million at an average price of $98.14. The position is currently valued at approximately $21.4027 million, with an unrealized loss of about $679,000. The position uses 20x full leverage; calculated based on the unified account's USDC collateral equity, the effective leverage is around 10.46x, and the current estimated liquidation price stands at $88.23. This position was opened during the U.S. midterm elections' voting and vote-counting window, coinciding with ongoing U.S.-Iran negotiations. Earlier expectations of diplomatic easing had driven oil prices down sharply, but no deal has been finalized yet. According to Reuters, Qatar is mediating between the two sides to review a new proposal. Iran has demanded the lifting of port blockades, relaxation of oil sanctions, and the release of frozen funds, noting that the two sides are still far from reaching an agreement; mediators are working to avoid renewed conflict escalation after the midterms.

US Democrats score historic win in Texas, dealing a major blow to Trump.

According to projections from election forecasting firm Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ), Democrat James Talarico will win the U.S. Senate seat in Texas, defeating Republican Ken Paxton. This marks the Democrats’ first major victory in the Lone Star State since 1988. It is a major milestone for the Democratic Party: on one hand, the party has finally secured a key state critical to presidential elections; on the other, it brings the party closer to reclaiming the Senate majority. The Democrats need a net gain of four seats to regain control of the Senate, and U.S. media projections show the party has flipped both Senate races in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Apple AI finally lands on China domestic iPhones: After more than two years of waiting, Siri now integrates Alibaba's Qianwen.

Flash News from Dongcha Beating AI: On the early morning of November 4, Apple rolled out the iOS 27.3 developer beta, bringing Apple Intelligence to Chinese mainland iPhones for the first time. The initial features include photo erase, AI writing, real-time translation, notification summaries, and intelligent emoji generation. Apple Intelligence launched overseas in 2024, with Chinese users waiting over two years for the test version. The mainland China version of Apple Intelligence integrates Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen, though core functions like photo erase and notification summaries still run on Apple’s self-developed models. For complex queries, Siri can call on Qianwen to provide answers. Users can also submit photos, PDFs, and PPTs to Qianwen for image recognition and document analysis; the writing tool leverages Qianwen to generate articles, copy, and even images. Qianwen requires user activation, and Apple will request consent each time before sending queries, photos, or documents to it. Alibaba stated that it will not use this data for model training. However, the newly launched features remain early-stage Apple Intelligence functions. The next-generation Siri unveiled at WWDC 2026, which can understand screen content and perform cross-app operations, is not yet available for mainland China. Initial supported devices include the iPhone 15 Pro series, iPhone 16 and later models, iPhone Air, and iPhone Duo. Both the device and Siri language must be set to Simplified Chinese or English. Apple plans to release the official version in December; iPad and Mac versions still await approval.
