Li Jiaqi’s live stream sold approximately 2 trillion tokens in half an hour.

Li Jiaqi’s Tmall Double 11 live stream made its debut sale of AI computing power product Qianwen Office Token. According to reports from outlets including Caijing, within just half an hour of launch, the live room sold 100,000 Qianwen Office personal monthly membership cards, totaling around 2 trillion Tokens, with the comment section repeatedly flooding with the line “321, launch Token”. That evening, Chen Yusen, Vice President of Alibaba and CEO of Qianwen Office, appeared as a guest on the live stream. When asked whether an AI doppelgänger could be created to chat 24 hours a day, Chen stated that AI cannot replace Li Jiaqi, and instead hopes to help fans resolve trivial matters using AI, such as clocking off on time, caring for pets, and looking after family members. The event also showcased demos including organizing homework and creating training mini-games, generating business analysis reports from live stream replays and bullet comments, and producing global fishing maps through AI dialogue. Pre-heat materials indicated the live stream also announced a 20 trillion Token giveaway, and showcased products including AI computers pre-installed with Qianwen Office, AI audio note cards, and desktop robots. Prior to this, Tokens had already entered e-commerce channels: on September 3, Tmall launched a Token recharge center integrated with vendors including Alibaba Cloud, Zhipu, Kimi, and MiniMax, offering monthly subscription plans and pay-as-you-go top-up services.

Tokenized securities infrastructure company tZERO plans to go public via a reverse merger at a $350 million valuation.

According to CoinDesk, tokenized securities infrastructure firm tZERO plans to go public via a merger with blank-check company FG Imperii Acquisition Corp. (FGII, a special purpose acquisition company, SPAC), with a pre-money valuation of approximately $350 million for tZERO. The deal could provide the company with up to $231 million in SPAC trust cash, depending on shareholder redemptions and fees. The combined company intends to list on the NYSE American market under the ticker TZRO, with completion expected in early 2027, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals. Founded in 2014, tZERO has long specialized in the blockchain securities market; its regulated subsidiary offers trading, brokerage, custody, and transfer agency services for digital securities. Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, is one of tZERO’s investors and has selected the firm as a design partner for the NYSE’s blockchain securities trading platform. CEO Alan Konevsky told CoinDesk that global and local institutions aim to offer tokenized products under their own brands and retain control of customer relationships, with tZERO providing end-to-end infrastructure. The proposed transaction is designed to secure additional capital to expand its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) model. The company holds over 100 blockchain-related patents for tokenization and securities infrastructure, and is involved in patent disputes with rival Securitize (SECZ). Existing shareholders are expected to retain their stakes in the combined company, with approximately 62% of fully diluted shareholders having signed support agreements. Konevsky is expected to continue as CEO.

Trump to deliver midterm election campaign rally speech at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool

White House officials announced that U.S. President Donald Trump will deliver a speech at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool that day, his final official campaign address ahead of the midterm elections, aimed at helping the Republican Party retain control of Congress. The election is scheduled for the following day. The Reflecting Pool was one of the renovation projects Trump promoted this year: it reopened on June 9, was closed after sustaining damage following the July 4 celebrations, and reopened again on October 29. Trump told reporters on Sunday that the pool had suffered severe damage, and a large number of cameras have now been installed. He noted that the pool, which has leaked badly since 1922, is now operating smoothly. Built in the 1920s, the pool is approximately 2,030 feet long. During renovations, its bottom was coated with what Trump called "American flag blue" industrial-grade pool paint. Groups including the Cultural Landscape Foundation criticized the renovation process as opaque and sued the U.S. Department of the Interior over the paint color. In the final stretch of the campaign, Trump held consecutive rallies in Kansas and Iowa on Sunday, and arranged nearly 20 phone canvassing events. Since October 1, he has held roughly two dozen rallies in around 19 states. National polls and multiple analysts still project that the Republican Party will suffer significant losses in the 2026 midterm elections, with early voting in multiple states already surpassing 2022 levels.
