Threshold Network stressed that Bitcoin transactions in the tBTC wallet require signatures from a majority of independent operators, meaning no single operator can transfer funds unilaterally. The cross-chain bridge will reopen once security maintenance is complete and nodes resume operation on patched systems. The team will release its next update within 24 hours, and will provide earlier notifications if circumstances change.
