JPMorgan Chase is bullish on Microsoft's business growth momentum and retains its Buy rating.

JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee maintained an "Overweight" rating on Microsoft on Thursday, with a target price of $625. In his research note, he noted that investors will closely track the growth rates of Azure, the commercial version of Microsoft 365 cloud, and Copilot. "However, stock price reactions may depend more on performance outlook than the quarterly earnings report itself," Chatterjee said, adding that investors are seeking signs of sustainable growth in Microsoft’s cloud business and AI. Ives named Microsoft one of his "top five tech picks for 2027," noting that clustered earnings releases from hyperscale cloud providers including Microsoft, Alphabet, and Amazon are expected to "calm the volatile market."
