Beating AI Express: Liquid AI has launched a real-time inference engine named RIPL, which enables its small-scale AI models to generate outputs in tens of milliseconds, targeting high-speed-demanding business use cases including search ranking, ad matching, and payment risk control. While mature AI models already exist in these sectors, they typically require task-specific training. Language models can directly parse user input, generate keywords, or make judgments, but their inference speed often fails to meet the demands of real-time operations. RIPL is a system built specifically to accelerate the performance of Liquid AI’s existing models, optimizing the entire workflow from request reception to full result delivery. The company conducted tests on a single NVIDIA B200 GPU: under a load of 1,000 requests per second with 32 tokens for both input and output, the 1.2B-parameter LFM2.5 model completed 95% of requests in 34.6 milliseconds. For comparison, Qwen3.5-0.8B paired with vLLM took roughly 498 milliseconds, a 14.4x gap.

QCP Capital’s latest market analysis notes that credit risks in the AI infrastructure sector are accelerating, with growing market concerns over financing costs, debt repayment capabilities, and returns on AI capital expenditures for related firms, dragging down U.S. equities and crypto markets. CoreWeave’s bond yields have risen to around 15%, and its stock price fell roughly 10% on October 22, reflecting a market reassessment of risks facing AI infrastructure projects reliant on debt financing. QCP points out that credit stress is spreading from CoreWeave to the broader emerging cloud infrastructure sector, prompting investors to re-examine tech firms’ capital expenditure commitments and profit outlooks. Meanwhile, France’s 10-year government bond yield climbed above 5.1%, widening its spread over German bunds to roughly 170 basis points, a sign of rising European sovereign credit and fiscal risk premiums. Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have pushed Brent crude and WTI crude to five-month highs, further amplifying uncertainty around inflation and monetary policy. On the monetary policy front, market expectations for a Federal Reserve rate hike in October have nearly vanished, while confidence in a December rate cut has also weakened notably, as investors reassess the interplay between tighter credit, slowing economic growth, and inflationary pressures. The current market faces a confluence of multiple risk factors, with capital showing a trend of shifting toward relatively safe assets such as long-term U.S. Treasuries. On Bitcoin, QCP notes that BTC has recently moved in tandem with U.S. equities, reflecting that it remains primarily driven by broader risk sentiment shifts and has not yet exhibited price movements independent of traditional markets. As financing risks in AI infrastructure spread and market risk aversion rises, changes in credit markets could become a key short-term variable impacting BTC and other risk assets’ performance.

According to Fortune magazine, Singapore and Hong Kong-based Raffles Family Office (RFO) is accelerating its push into digital asset wealth management, targeting Asian high-net-worth individuals who have built wealth via technology and cryptocurrencies. RFO founder and CEO Chi-Man Kwan noted that if a client holds $100 million in stablecoins, traditional local banks may fail to meet their related financial service needs. As more young wealthy individuals store their wealth on blockchains, even U.S. dollar-denominated assets may be held as stablecoins, making it urgent for traditional financial institutions to adapt to this trend. RFO launched Revo, its multi-family office dedicated to digital asset wealth management, in 2022. This February, Revo secured a license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), enabling it to offer both digital asset and traditional portfolio management services. A 2026 survey by Ocorian found that 86% of family office principals and senior executives have integrated crypto assets into their investment strategies, yet regulatory and reporting requirements remain a key barrier for traditional family offices looking to expand crypto allocations. Chi-Man Kwan predicts stablecoins could become a key tool for daily transactions in the next decade, with wealth management firms needing to prepare in advance.

Beating AI News: Former OpenAI Chief Product Officer and Head of Scientific Operations Kevin Weil has founded Warp Sciences, which has raised $215 million in Series A funding led by Lightspeed, with a post-money valuation of around $865 million. Its co-founders include Meta FAIR founding member Mano Paluri, former U.S. White House Chief Data Scientist DJ Patil, and medicinal chemistry expert Sol Reisberg. The company plans to build automated chemistry labs in the U.S. to synthesize and test molecules for pharmaceutical firms. After identifying promising molecules, drugmakers often need to produce hundreds or thousands of variants and repeatedly test their efficacy. This labor-intensive work has long been outsourced to Chinese contract research organizations (CROs) such as WuXi AppTec. Warp aims to bring some of this work back to the U.S. using robots. Robots require training too. Warp plans to have chemists wear cameras and sensor gloves to record experimental procedures, then use that data to train its robots. AI will assist in designing experiments, while robots will gradually take over execution, with results feeding back to further train the AI. The company hopes to eventually run labs around the clock, continuously accumulating real experimental data. Cost remains a key factor: Chinese CROs already have mature scale and cost advantages. Warp aims to offer competitive pricing and speed in the U.S. through automation.

According to official announcements, Ethena’s synthetic USD stablecoin USDe has been natively deployed on X Layer, and users can now hold and trade USDe within the X Layer ecosystem. This deployment will further enrich the application scenarios of stablecoin assets in the X Layer ecosystem, lay a foundation for the composability of future DeFi scenarios, and provide more asset options for on-chain transactions, liquidity, and yield applications. It is reported that OKX Wallet will later support USDe staking, add USDe to its existing cycle earning feature, and allow users to participate in related on-chain strategies with one click.

According to South Korean media outlet Digital Asset, the South Korean government and the Bank of Korea plan to jointly amend the Foreign Exchange Transaction Act this year, bringing stablecoins and other payment instruments under regulatory purview to strengthen oversight of cross-border digital asset transactions. The Bank of Korea noted in its parliamentary audit report that it is negotiating with the government on a cross-border digital asset transaction regulatory framework and preparing to establish a digital asset monitoring system, including reporting via the foreign exchange electronic network. Meanwhile, the Bank of Korea will continue to cooperate with relevant authorities to prevent transactions exploiting temporary regulatory gaps to evade oversight during the rollout of digital asset-related legislation, and enhance international cooperation to curb illegal digital asset transactions.
