On Day 15 of OpenAI's 28-day sprint, no new features or resets were launched, with Tibo remarking "We're doomed".

Insight Beating AI Flash News: OpenAI’s 28-day product sprint has reached Day 15. Today, Tibo did not unveil new features; instead, he shared a show titled *COOKED*, with only the caption “We’re cooked”. The phrase is an English slang meaning “we’re screwed,” but in the context of a ramen-making show, it doubles as a pun. The roughly 13-minute video pairs ramen cooking with demos of OpenAI products: Dot assists with recipe preparation, while GPT-Live-1 guides cooking via voice commands. Developers also built an 8-bit ramen game using Ultrafast, tested on the ModRetro handheld console. The show also highlighted Codex’s cloud tasks, terminal voice interaction, agent management, and dedicated workspaces. However, these features were previously launched and are not new to Day 15. Tibo had originally promised to either deliver a significant improvement or reset usage limits each day. As of Day 15, there has been no official announcement of new features or a usage limit reset.

Citigroup: Aave is poised to become a decentralized collateral liquidity protocol that connects tokenized assets with financing.

Citi Research has released a report stating that it is no longer sufficient to view Aave solely as a crypto-native lending protocol. As tokenized assets, stablecoins, and institutional participation gradually integrate into mainstream finance, Aave is poised to be positioned as a decentralized collateral liquidity protocol. Projects including Aave V4, Horizon, and GHO all point to the intersection of collateral, liquidity, and financing. The report notes that if tokenization determines which assets enter on-chain ecosystems, and stablecoins become the default settlement base, Aave could help shape how these assets are financed, leveraged, used as collateral, and integrated into capital markets. Citi argues that as tokenization expands beyond stablecoins to money market funds, private credit, Treasuries, and even future equities, collateral circulation may eventually emerge as one of the most important use cases of tokenization. Aave provides a practical case study showing how tokenized assets can be used for collateralized borrowing, financing, and re-collateralization within the digital financial system, while also offering insights into the future of tokenized capital markets, securities financing, and even prime brokerage.

Rising concerns over AI financing push SoftBank’s credit risk to a near four-year high.

According to Bloomberg, as market concerns over AI-related financing and potential large-scale acquisitions mount, SoftBank Group’s 5-year credit default swap (CDS) spread rose to 432 basis points on Tuesday, its highest level since early November 2022, widening by more than 30 basis points from a week ago when it broke through 400 basis points. Financial strains at CoreWeave have brought the debt issues underpinning the AI investment boom into the spotlight. Against a backdrop of rising financing costs, SoftBank is also considering an acquisition of Allied Universal, with its funding needs and leverage levels coming under scrutiny. Sharon Chen, a credit analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, forecasts SoftBank will face at least $60 billion in cash outflows in the fiscal year ending March 2027, and further AI investment will add to its financing needs. She noted that SoftBank needs to raise new funds for potential acquisitions, and its loan-to-value ratio could approach its self-imposed 25% cap. SoftBank’s share price has been weak recently, falling roughly 50% from its June peak.

Analyst: Bitcoin’s rally may revive buying demand from crypto treasury firms, but an indiscriminate funding boom is unlikely to return.

Bitwise Head of Research Ryan Rasmussen stated that corporate Bitcoin purchases generally slowed in the third quarter. Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings rose by a net 1,666 coins, down from 83,901 in the second quarter; other public companies added a net 5,617 BTC, also lower than the prior quarter’s 45,725. He expects corporate Bitcoin buying could accelerate again as early as this year. Bitfinex Derivatives Head Jag Kooner argued that if Bitcoin’s rally allows treasury-focused companies to regain valuation premiums relative to their Bitcoin holdings, firms can continue purchasing Bitcoin by issuing new shares without diluting existing shareholders’ per-share Bitcoin exposure. However, investors now prioritize financing costs, balance sheet discipline, and Bitcoin per share, so capital may flow to more mature firms with stronger scale, liquidity, and operating track records—last year’s blanket financing environment is unlikely to return. Rasmussen also pointed out that 12 companies that entered the market during the 2025 treasury Bitcoin boom have liquidated their holdings, primarily to repay debt or return cash to shareholders. Still, corporate buying is not the only demand source: spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $6.4 billion in the third quarter. Kooner warned that some ETF activity involves basis trades that could be closed out quickly; data shows U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted net outflows of roughly $229 million last week, marking the second straight week of net outflows.
