Runway enables AI agents to generate videos while performing tasks: code repositories are visualized as virtual towns, and file operations are viewable.

Beating AI News Flash: Runway’s experimental team Runway Labs has unveiled Visual Thinking, a capability that converts AI agents’ workflows into real-time videos. When agents search the web, call tools, or read/modify files, the video model generates synchronized visuals based on these operations. Users no longer need to sift through execution logs line by line to intuitively track what the agent is doing. For example, when an agent is tasked with explaining a monorepo (a code repository shared by multiple projects), the system visualizes the codebase as a small town: different packages are depicted as goods shipped to various applications, while documentation is transformed into a riverside park. The visuals update in real time as the agent accesses or modifies folders. In another demo, an agent simulates Wi-Fi signal propagation on a floor plan to identify coverage dead zones and present adjustment solutions. Even web searches and tool calls for gift shopping are converted into dynamic visuals. Visual Thinking is not a standalone product, but a feature of Runway’s new operating system research project Continuum. Continuum was first unveiled on October 1, and this presentation highlights more use cases. The technology remains in the research and demonstration phase, with no public trial access available yet.

Ledger Responds to Hardware Implant Attack: Incident Tied to Localized Distribution Channel Attack, Orders Authorized Resellers in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong to Suspend Sales

Crypto hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has released a statement responding to hardware implant attacks, alleging that criminal groups purchased legitimate Ledger devices, installed hidden components designed to steal users' recovery mnemonics during initialization, and reintroduced the tampered devices to the market via Southeast Asian distributors. Ledger emphasized that its chips, operating system, and servers were not compromised, and characterized the incident as a localized attack on distribution channels after devices left the company’s control, rather than a systemic supply chain attack. The company has requested authorized dealers and distributors in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong to suspend sales. Ledger added that it purchased and disassembled devices from stores in Germany and other regions, and inspected its own warehouse and inventory samples, with no tampering detected in any tested devices. It is also tightening channel management: returned devices, even if appearing brand-new and unopened, may not be resold; products must not be placed on shelves or display areas, stored in backrooms, and delivered only at the time of purchase; distributors are required to report abnormal products promptly. Ledger stated that it is working with law enforcement agencies and the security community to trace funds and dismantle attack infrastructure, and will disclose more technical details in the future.

Ledger launches Atom Android device, introduces new tamper-proof protection features.

Crypto hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has launched the Atom Android device at the Op3n event in Paris. The limited-edition founder version is priced at $849, with a fully refundable $100 deposit required for pre-orders; the regular retail price will be $899 after launch. Delivery is slated for summer 2027, pending completion of certification. Atom uses an FPGA chip to isolate its Android environment from a secure mode dedicated to transaction auditing and signing, while supporting standard Android applications. Solana Mobile plans to integrate its wallet and dApp Store into the Seeker app, which will connect to Atom, with transaction signing handled by the secure mode. The device will also come pre-installed with OpenClaw, a tool that lets users review transactions proposed by AI agents via Agent Intent, without exposing private keys to the agents. Addressing recent hardware wallet tampering incidents, Ledger stated that Atom can detect acts including screen removal, casing disassembly, and core area drilling. Anti-tamper sensors remain powered by an independent battery even when the device is turned off. The company added that its core protection features can block the screen-reading implant attack observed in the recent incidents. The device will be sold exclusively through Ledger’s official website.

Pendle’s high-yield USDC vault surpasses $16 million in deposits less than a day after its launch.

Pendle announced that its high-yield Pendle Ecosystem USDC Vault on Morpho surpassed $16 million in Total Value Locked (TVL) in less than a day after launch. Data from the Morpho page shows that as of press time, the vault’s total deposits have reached approximately $16.02 million, with a net APY of 8.19%. The vault is jointly managed by Pendle and Armitage, Wintermute’s vault management division, and operates in parallel with Pendle’s existing Pendle Ecosystem USDC Vault. Currently, Pendle has two USDC ecosystem vaults on Morpho. Compared to the original vault, the new one covers a wider range of Principal Token (PT) markets, allocates USDC liquidity to selected high-yield PT collateralized lending markets, and provides additional borrowing liquidity for users engaging in PT cycle lending. Pendle stated that related borrowing demand underpins the vault’s returns, which in turn attracts more deposits.

Analyst: Bitcoin may pull back to test $74,600, medium-term trend remains bullish.

Crypto analyst Darkfost noted in a post that Bitcoin’s technical fundamentals have not seen material changes: the 5th sub-wave of Wave 1 has ended at the expected level, and a Wave 2 correction may follow. This correction could dip to $74,600, aligning with the standard 0.382 Fibonacci retracement level. Currently, Bitcoin has fallen below the 21-period EMA and is trading at the support of the 50-period EMA, which he considers a strong support level; the 200-period EMA stands at around $75,800, still some distance from the current price. The RSI has returned to the neutral 50 level, though the gap with the 14-period SMA has widened. Darkfost opined that this suggests a corrective B-wave rebound may occur before the final C-wave arrives. He added that there are currently no concerning signals, and Bitcoin’s medium-term trend remains positive.
