RSI-Anything enables AI to improve on the fly, fixing more bugs without modifying the programming model.

Beating AI Express: AI research institute PhAI Labs has launched RSI-Anything, a framework enabling AI agents to continuously accumulate experience from real tasks and improve their performance. The framework supports use cases including code debugging, computer operations, and scientific research. Its core design equips agents with a "world model" that predicts the outcomes of different actions. The agent first proposes multiple solutions; the world model evaluates which is most likely to succeed, after which the agent selects that solution for execution. The system then compares predictions with actual results to refine the agent’s operational strategy. If predictions are inaccurate, the world model is also updated. Only after the new version passes tests is it retained for subsequent tasks. Take bug fixing as an example: the code-generating model produces four modification proposals at once. RSI-Anything first predicts which is most likely to pass tests, selects only one to run, then uses the test result to improve future judgments. This approach allocates limited test attempts to more promising solutions. In 200 CodeContests problems, the code-writing model ReasonFlux-Coder-7B remained unchanged throughout, with roughly the same number of test attempts. Using a traditional static verifier, the bug-fixing pass rate stood at 26.3%. After introducing the world model for screening, the rate rose to 29.2%; further updating the world model with real feedback pushed it to 31.2%. The team also applied this method to computer operations and scientific experiments. In a lab planning test, a 4B model was updated five consecutive times, with its planning score rising from 21.80% to 46.01%. The project code is now open-source. Currently, separate agents and world models are used for different tasks. The paper acknowledges that whether the execution strategy and world model can improve together long-term on the same task requires additional experimental verification.

TSMC's Q3 financial results are approaching, with an on-chain account holding over $1 million in long TSM positions.

TSMC is scheduled to release its third-quarter financial results on October 15. Bloomberg projects the company’s Q3 revenue will reach approximately NT$1.49 trillion (around $46.7 billion), up 51% year-over-year, exceeding both market expectations and its previous guidance upper limit. The current market focus is whether the ramp-up of advanced process nodes can continue to drive performance beyond expectations. The 2nm node is viewed as a key growth driver. Bank of America forecasts its revenue share will rise from 3% in Q2 to roughly 11% in Q3, and further to 18% in Q4; however, yield ramp and overseas expansion may pressure gross margins. The bank projects TSMC’s Q3 and Q4 gross margins at 67.0% and 67.8% respectively, with a target price of NT$3,260; HSBC is more optimistic, setting a target price of NT$3,800. According to TradingBeats’ monitoring, the TSM perpetual contract on Hyperliquid is currently quoted at $455.16, up about 0.4% from the previous day’s settlement price, with a 24-hour trading volume of around $563,000 and an open interest nominal value of approximately $7.71 million. Australia plans to include crypto asset settlement derivatives under leverage restrictions, with public consultation closing on November 9.

Australia's Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) on Monday proposed expanding the regulatory scope of Contracts for Difference (CFDs) to include contracts that meet relevant conditions and settle via digital asset transfers. Even if such contracts track non-crypto asset prices, they may still be subject to the rules. Under Australia’s current framework, CFD trading is bound by leverage caps; service providers must close positions when a client’s account funds fall below a required threshold, and offer negative balance protection, limiting client losses to the amount of funds in their CFD trading accounts. ASIC noted that certain cryptocurrency futures and options with fixed expiration dates will remain excluded from CFD rules. The regulator is currently seeking public comment on the proposal, with a deadline of November 9. Separately, Australia passed legislation in April this year requiring cryptocurrency exchanges and tokenized custody platforms to be included in the financial services licensing framework, with the new regime set to take effect on April 9, 2027.
