Binance is targeting a "financial super app" status, integrating crypto trading, stock investing, payments, and banking-like services, with an aim to expand its user base to 3 billion.

2026.10.09 22:31:40

Binance’s Head of Trading and Trading Business, Shunyet Jan, stated that future competition among financial platforms will no longer be limited to crypto asset trading, but will focus on integrating services such as investment, payments, lending, and asset management to build a comprehensive financial ecosystem covering both traditional finance and crypto markets. Jan, who has approximately 30 years of work experience at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan, believes traditional finance holds advantages in regulation, risk management, and functional segregation, while the crypto industry is more competitive in 24/7 trading, fast settlement, and openness. He noted that the two sectors will accelerate integration in the future. Binance aims to let users leverage the financial value of their underlying assets without selling them, via features including unified accounts, cross-asset margin, tokenized assets, and stablecoin payments, and is exploring using AI to simplify asset selection and risk management. Jan revealed Binance currently has over 300 million users, most of whom come from emerging markets; around 90% of its users for direct stock and tokenized stock products are from emerging markets. He added that Binance’s long-term goal is to expand its user base from 300 million to 3 billion, and become a financial infrastructure accessible to more people.

Liquid Capital founder Yili Hua stated in a post, "We’ve been repeatedly warning of a market correction every day, but we didn’t expect the $79,000 strong support level to be breached by a black swan event, which was unplanned. The originally planned levels of $75,000 and $71,000 need to be re-evaluated and adjusted amid changing circumstances. However, once the black swan event’s impact subsides and the midterm elections conclude, the optimal time to buy the dip will arrive."

OpenAI's 28-Day Product Sprint Day 25: Tibo Flips on Usage Quota Terms, Cancels Pro 200 Half-Price Plan

Beating AI Express News: OpenAI’s 28-day product sprint has reached Day 25, and Tibo has finally scrapped the reset plan, announcing that it will add quotas for all users. OpenAI originally planned to cut the Codex and ChatGPT Work quotas for old Pro 200 users from 20x to 10x, while keeping the $200 monthly fee unchanged. Just as the adjustment was about to take effect, Tibo suddenly backtracked: No more cuts! Old users who originally had 20x quotas will retain their current levels, while users who previously only had 10x quotas will get a direct doubling, bringing all users’ quotas in line. In addition, quotas for Pro 100, Pro 500, and Business Premium plans will also be doubled, effective immediately. Dot will temporarily retain its additional quota, which is calculated separately and does not take up the shared quota for Codex and Work. Tibo also joked that OpenAI is graduating from being a "Reset company" and upgrading to a "Token company".
