According to an official announcement, Binance will support cash dividend distributions for Marvell Technology (MRVL) and Oracle Corporation (ORCL) via its bStocks product. Eligible holders of MRVLB and ORCLB will receive dividends in the form of corresponding MRVLB and ORCLB bStocks. After applicable withholding taxes, fees, costs, and other relevant deductions, the net cash dividend will be reinvested to purchase additional or fractional units of the underlying securities. For users holding MRVLB and ORCLB on-chain, dividends will be distributed via multiplier adjustments. The record date snapshot, taken at 00:00 UTC on October 9, 2026, will determine eligible users holding MRVLB or ORCLB to receive the respective dividends. Normal trading of MRVLB/USDT and ORCLB/USDT pairs will remain unaffected by this dividend arrangement. Additionally, Binance will suspend the 1:1 token conversion service between MRVL stock and MRVLB bStocks, as well as between ORCL stock and ORCLB bStocks, at 23:30 UTC on October 8, 2026. It will also suspend deposits and withdrawals for MRVLB and ORCLB. Users are advised to allow sufficient time to ensure their relevant deposits are processed before the suspension takes effect. Binance Convert will also halt conversions for MRVLB, ORCLB, and all related trading pairs at 23:30 UTC on October 8, 2026. Furthermore, dividends from related assets held in other accounts (including savings accounts, margin accounts, etc.) will be credited to spot accounts. Binance will handle all technical processes for this dividend distribution, with dividend reinvestment and distribution conducted after withholding taxes are deducted.

FxPro analyst Alex Kuptsikevich noted that Bitcoin has encountered resistance near $87,000 for the third time since September 23. From a technical perspective, Bitcoin has formed a trend of "rising local lows" since the start of last week, yet bulls have failed to build sufficient upward momentum. The cryptocurrency is now approaching the apex of a triangle pattern formed by a horizontal resistance line and an ascending support line; a breakout from this pattern could trigger higher market volatility. If bulls can absorb selling pressure at this level and push Bitcoin to hold above $87,000, it would signal easing selling pressure at the position, potentially paving the way for Bitcoin to challenge its nearly 8-month high.

Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm posted that the U.S. Treasury recently acknowledged in a document that prior rules targeting the crypto mixer had flaws, noting they could create a "chilling effect" on legitimate activities. Storm stated that while relevant U.S. Treasury departments now recognize the policy is problematic, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) still maintains in its case that even legitimate transactions conducted via Tornado Cash are illegal, as they could be used for money laundering, sanctions evasion and other criminal acts. He pointed out that non-criminal U.S. government agencies consider the policies improper, while the criminal justice department deems all related transactions criminal. Storm argued that the "war" on the crypto industry is ongoing and could set a dangerous legal precedent for the U.S. regarding developers and open-source software. He added that he has been detained and prosecuted for over 1,139 days, noting his case originates from developing open-source code. Storm revealed that a new filing was submitted today by the Southern District of New York (SDNY) federal court, with the DOJ still pushing for his conviction.
