According to a report by The Jerusalem Post, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told reporters on Thursday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York that Iran has submitted a proposal to the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days. As of the end of August, over 340,000 tokens had been issued on the chain, and August application-layer fees reached $114 million. The report notes that trading volume for meme tokens paired with tokenized stocks is also surging; August trading volume for meme tokens paired with Robinhood Stock Tokens hit $518 million. The report points out that current trading activity on Robinhood Chain is still mainly driven by crypto-native users, and Robinhood’s 27 million funded accounts have not yet migrated to the chain on a large scale. Gas subsidies for Robinhood Wallet will remain in effect until September 29, and Robinhood Earn’s APY is also scheduled to be gradually reduced.

KelpDAO has issued a statement announcing that Kelp is suing LayerZero and its co-founder Bryan Pellegrino over the rsETH LayerZero cross-chain bridge vulnerability incident earlier this year. The lawsuit alleges the vulnerability originated from LayerZero’s own technical flaws and a breach of its security infrastructure—including LayerZero’s failure to disclose inherent weaknesses and risks in its technology, and its inability to stop attackers from compromising its security infrastructure to exploit the flaw. Over the past several months, LayerZero and Pellegrino publicly blamed Kelp for the incident, but Kelp claims LayerZero had previously reviewed and approved the deployment and configuration of its LayerZero technology in writing. The lawsuit seeks to hold LayerZero and Bryan Pellegrino liable for the related losses.
