Doubao Work has launched a new goal mode, offering all users an additional 30-day membership.

Insight Beating AI News: Doubao Work has updated its task modes, adding two new features: "Goal Mode" and "Plan Mode". Goal Mode allows users to specify acceptance criteria in advance. After the AI Agent completes the task, it will verify each item against the criteria, continuing revisions until all requirements are met before delivery. Plan Mode, by contrast, delays task execution. It first conducts research to generate an editable Markdown implementation plan, clearly detailing task breakdown, required materials, and acceptance standards. The AI Agent will only formally execute the task after user confirmation. This update also adds task queues, online Markdown editing, and dark mode. Additionally, Doubao is offering all users a 30-day subscription benefit. Users can claim it by downloading or upgrading to the latest desktop versions of Doubao Work and Doubao Desktop. Users who already received the benefit in the previous round will get an extra 30 days in this round. Paid users will have their existing paid benefits automatically extended, while retaining their peak-time priority access.
