Tencent Music is beta testing MusicBuddy: users can modify audio tracks with a single sentence and release their finished works directly.

Exclusive report from Dujia, via Beating AI Express: Tencent Music is currently in internal testing of its AI music creation tool MusicBuddy, which integrates AI dialogue directly into a multi-track arrangement workstation. Users can modify lyrics, switch instruments, adjust volume and reverb using natural language, eliminating the need to manually operate complex arrangement software. MusicBuddy also provides creation suggestions based on musicians’ existing works, fan preferences and trending topics, and supports selecting different generation models, vocals and reference music. Once a song is completed, it can directly enter the distribution process, and can also generate music videos (MVs) and promotional posters. Tencent Music has previously launched the Qin Yun and Qin Le large music models, and rolled out capabilities such as AI song creation, vocal synthesis and audio editing. MusicBuddy further integrates these capabilities into a single workstation covering creation, editing and distribution. Overseas, Suno Studio 2.0 is following a similar path, already supporting multi-track editing, MIDI and modifying projects directly via chat commands.
