Li Yihua: Don’t fixate on the lowest point when bottom-fishing; the cycle window is the key.

Liquid Capital founder Jack Yi posted that he had repeatedly stated July-August would be the final window for bottom-fishing. The core logic is that the third wave of decline since 1011 marks the final drop—no one can pinpoint the exact bottom, as it is subject to factors like black swan events, similar to how the FTX incident caused BTC to overcorrect sharply back then. However, cycle timelines and volatility patterns hold true; when the time comes, one should buy the dip, and never aim for the absolute lowest price. As for why his statements are sometimes vague: no one can be 100% accurate, after all. It’s like how ten correct calls go unnoticed, but one wrong one is forever etched on-chain, and even the most outlandish rumors tend to spark more enthusiasm than facts.

Circle launches Bitcoin-collateralized lending service.

Per official announcements, Circle has launched the Digital Asset Backed Borrowing (DABB) service for eligible Circle Mint LLC clients, with support for the Arc and Ethereum mainnets. The service allows clients to deposit BTC, mint Circle Wrapped Bitcoin (cirBTC), then borrow USDC using cirBTC as collateral via supported third-party lending markets. Borrowed funds are deposited directly into Circle Mint accounts, enabling clients to access liquidity without selling their BTC. DABB integrates BTC deposits, cirBTC minting, collateralized borrowing, and USDC settlement into a unified workflow, letting clients manage their collateral independently and add collateral or repay loans as needed. The service currently supports Morpho-related markets, with plans to expand to additional lending markets and third-party platforms going forward. Parameters including borrowing interest rates, collateral requirements, liquidation thresholds, and liquidity are set by the selected market and subject to change.

Analysis: Bitcoin accelerates its breakout through the dense short liquidation zone, with covering demand set to further push prices higher.

Glassnode noted in a publication that Bitcoin (BTC) has accelerated its breakout from the dense short liquidation zone as anticipated. Over recent months, a large volume of short positions had built up in the $82,000–$86,000 range, though the prior pullback from this zone was modest. These short positions have now become a driving force for the upward move, as short sellers are forced to cover their Bitcoin positions.
