Ethereum core developer nixo.eth announced via tweet that the community has approved moving account abstraction proposal EIP-8141 from "under consideration" to "scheduled", confirming account abstraction will be advanced as a key feature of the Hegotá upgrade. According to Reuters, Anthropic had planned to acquire AI chip startup MatX for $7 billion but ultimately scrapped the deal. MatX is now seeking roughly $4 billion in new funding.
