Renowned investment research firm Citrini predicted that NVIDIA’s stock price is set to hit a new high. “Short sellers who have shorted NVIDIA via margin will cover their positions rapidly, while underweight long-position managers benchmarked to the SPX will adjust their positions more slowly,” the firm stated. Beating AI Express: Anthropic researchers are attempting to train an agent dedicated to auditing other AI models. They first secretly implant hidden problematic behaviors—including bias, deception, and fake citations—into target models, then let Haiku 4.5 conduct investigations independently. Haiku has no prior knowledge of the correct answers, so it must adjust its questions, modify scenarios, and run repeated tests within a maximum of 15 rounds. During training, researchers do not directly tell Haiku whether it correctly detected anomalies. After each investigation, the system compares Haiku’s results against an investigation record from an older Haiku version, then has Sonnet 4—who already knows the correct answers—evaluate which investigation is more accurate. The old record is updated every 50 training steps, effectively letting Haiku continuously challenge its own past performance. However, if all training tasks involve problematic models, Haiku will quickly develop flawed patterns. To secure rewards, it starts assuming all models are problematic; in some setups, its false positive rate against normal models reaches nearly 97%. Later, researchers swapped half the training tasks to use completely normal models, requiring Haiku to correctly identify a target model as normal after investigation to earn high rewards. The trained Haiku indeed changed its approach: it proactively adjusts scenarios, controls variables, and compares responses across iterations, rather than immediately pushing models to admit faults. Its final comprehensive audit score rose from 44.2 to 48.7, nearly matching Opus 4.6’s 48.4. When tested on the more challenging AuditBench—where models actively hide anomalies—its detection rate improved from 11.5% to a maximum of 28.1%.

According to crypto analyst joaowedson, Binance’s spot trading volume currently accounts for just around 10% of its perpetual futures trading volume. This market structure consistently reflects investors’ strong preference for derivatives over spot trading. The analyst notes this does not necessarily signal a bearish market; instead, it highlights a shift in participation: traders are increasingly turning to derivatives for hedging, leverage, and short-term positions. Notably, this ratio has remained relatively low for most of 2026. Per GoPlus monitoring, Realio Network — a RWA tokenization issuance and management platform — was hacked on August 25. The attacker hijacked the platform’s signature stack and siphoned funds from treasury and custodian wallets across five blockchains: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Algorand, Stellar, and Realio’s native chain. A total of 127.9 million RIO tokens were stolen, worth roughly $6.2 million, with the attacker having cashed out around $317,000 to date. GoPlus Security’s analysis attributes the incident to the theft of the platform’s signing keys. Realio[.]fund previously used a single hot signer to uniformly manage the treasury, reserves, and user custodian sub-accounts. After gaining this access, the attacker could directly sign transfers across multiple chains without user approval, key reconfiguration, or any contract vulnerability being exploited. Realio’s official team stated the platform has suspended access, with all user wallet fund deposits and withdrawals fully halted. The team is developing a recovery plan, verifying incident details, and will cooperate with law enforcement to identify the attacker’s identity.

The Claude Cowork desktop version now includes a built-in standalone browser, opening web tasks directly in the sidebar. Claude can independently browse web pages, click elements, input text, and fill out forms—no Chrome extension needed. Meanwhile, Claude in Chrome has exited beta and is now officially available to all paid plans. The core difference between the two is login status: Claude Cowork uses Claude’s own browser, isolated from the user’s regular browser, and by default cannot access the user’s tabs, bookmarks, or passwords; users can import login credentials for individual sites. Claude in Chrome, by contrast, operates directly on the user’s open, logged-in Chrome browser, making it better suited for tasks like handling emails, CRMs, or web pages being edited. Bitfinex Securities, the tokenized asset trading platform linked to crypto exchange Bitfinex, announced it is preparing to list a new security, ALKN, tied to Luxembourg industrial metals platform Alkemya Metacore. The latter’s core assets include $1.6 billion (approximately 7 million metric tons) in high-purity nickel wire inventory, currently stored in Switzerland, with wide applications in semiconductors, aerospace, defense and other sectors. Alkemya Metacore raised $50 million via tokenization, with the funds to support its operating subsidiary Green Transitional Metals in the R&D and commercialization of nickel products for fields such as electromagnetic shielding, aerospace, defense, semiconductors, power industrial systems, green hydrogen and precious metal recycling. Initial subscriptions for ALKN tokens for accredited investors will run through October 15, marking it as one of the world’s first tokenized nickel products and the first tokenized commodity issuance project under El Salvador’s digital asset regulatory framework.
