Liquid Capital founder Yilihua posted that while he remains bullish on the current market trend, the crypto industry is indeed in a trough, and AI has siphoned off a large amount of talent and capital from the sector. Reflecting on his recent market calls, he noted he has maintained for the past two months that a correction around $86,000 is imminent, similar to his May call that the rebound near $84,000 had concluded. Since he urged buying the dip on ETH at $1,450 over a year ago, he has only made one obvious error, stressing that one should grow from mistakes. Yilihua argues patience is the best strategy, adding most markets are not suited to Buffett-style value investing, a trend that has held for the crypto industry in recent years. ETH’s price is even less than half of its level six years ago, while BTC’s price remains the same as it was three years ago.

Liquid Capital founder Yilihua posted that while he remains bullish on the current market trend, the crypto industry is indeed in a slump, with AI attracting a large amount of talent and capital. Reflecting on his recent market calls, he said he has maintained over the past two months that a correction would occur near $86,000, similar to his May call that the rebound near $84,000 had ended. Since he advocated bottom-buying ETH at $1,450 over a year ago, he has only made one obvious mistake, and stressed that one should grow from errors. Yilihua believes most markets are not suited to Buffett-style value investing, a pattern reflected in the crypto industry's performance in recent years. He stated: "Patience is the best strategy."

Tether announced in a post that 15 industry participants, including mining farm operators, ASIC manufacturers, and mining pools, have committed to jointly build and maintain integrations with its Mining Development Kit (MDK). The MDK is an open-source framework designed to enhance interoperability across different mining infrastructures and support AI-driven automation. Each participating company will build and maintain MDK Worker adapters, converting the existing interfaces of their hardware, mining pools, or systems into a unified interface. Businesses do not need to replace existing technology or surrender control of their systems, and can choose which functions to offer via the open interface on their own. Once adapted, developers can build applications, monitoring systems, or AI agents for the MDK, eliminating the need to develop separate integrations for each device manufacturer and mining pool. Tether noted that this will lay the foundation for cross-vendor device monitoring, fault identification, performance optimization, and future autonomous operations, while reducing redundant development work and reliance on a single supplier.
