White House officials said they have not heard of any plans to extend the ceasefire.

According to Politico, the one-month ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran will expire next Monday. If it fails to be extended, the nearly six-month-long war could re-escalate. White House officials said as of Friday afternoon, negotiations remain at a "standstill" with no word of an extension arrangement. "The timeline is not the key; the crux is whether Iran is willing to return to the negotiating table, which it has not done yet." Negotiations are difficult partly due to Iran's fragmented internal power structure: the Revolutionary Guards, religious forces, and the government hold differing stances, and all factions must approve an agreement for it to take effect. Disagreements center on sanctions, frozen assets, and access to the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. side said any form of toll or access control is "unacceptable." The Trump administration stated that if Iran rejects the agreement, the U.S. reserves "all options." Sanctions and blockades have severely damaged Iran's economy, and Iran should return to the negotiating table. However, sources familiar with the matter believe the U.S. may have underestimated Iran's resilience. To stabilize the situation before the midterm elections, the U.S. needs to act quickly. (Jinshi)

A crypto whale that built a $30 million ETH position in June is suspected of reducing its position, having transferred over 10,000 ETH to FalconX, with an unrealized profit of $2.47 million.

According to monitoring by Ai Yi, a crypto whale that built a position worth approximately $30.05 million in ETH this June is suspected of reducing its holdings. The address transferred 7,981 ETH (valued at around $14.99 million) to FalconX three hours ago. Since July, the address has sent a total of 10,735.8 ETH (worth roughly $20.04 million) to FalconX. Sources: Anthropic projects its revenue will reach $190 billion to $200 billion by 2028.

Two people familiar with Anthropic’s financial affairs revealed that the AI firm projects its revenue will reach $190 billion to $200 billion by 2028. This forecast is far higher than the $47 billion in "annualized revenue" the company announced in May this year. Four sources said bankers and investors are using enterprise value-to-revenue multiples to value Anthropic based on the projection. Revenue multiples are common for high-growth software companies that have not yet built mature profit models. However, extending the forecast horizon to two years out is unusual, reflecting the rapid expansion of Anthropic’s business and the challenge of setting valuation benchmarks for a company that is still making heavy investments in AI infrastructure. Anthropic’s Q2 revenue exceeds $11.5 billion, up at least 14 times year-over-year.

According to Bloomberg, Anthropic’s preliminary second-quarter revenue exceeded $11.5 billion, growing at least 14-fold from $787 million in the year-ago period and outpacing the first quarter’s $4.73 billion. The company posted positive adjusted operating profit in the quarter. Once a laggard in the AI race, Anthropic has seen its growth accelerate significantly as more professionals use its software to streamline workflows such as programming. In May this year, Anthropic’s annualized revenue crossed $47 billion. For comparison, OpenAI previously disclosed annualized revenue of over $40 billion, though the two firms’ calculation methodologies may not be fully aligned. Competition in the AI sector is heating up, with year-to-date IPO financing reaching $256.4 billion, a new high since 2021 (excluding financial instruments like SPACs).
