Coinbase released its Q2 2026 Solana Validator Performance Report, disclosing key metrics for its Solana staking operations. As of the end of Q2, Coinbase staked a total of 41.63 million SOL across 23 validators in 7 countries, accounting for 9.72% of the network’s total staked SOL. In terms of yield performance, Coinbase’s validators posted an annualized yield of 6.52%, outperforming the network average of 6.38% by roughly 14 basis points. Looking ahead, the entire validator cluster has been integrated into the DoubleZero network, with a session uptime of approximately 99.9%, and is prepared for the Alpenglow mainnet upgrade in the second half of the year.

Coinbase has announced it will suspend trading for six non-U.S. dollar trading pairs on August 6. The affected pairs are LSETH-ETH, MINA-EUR, GRT-GBP, MASK-GBP, CHZ-USDT, and CRO-USDT. The platform stated that the suspension only impacts these non-USD denominated trading pairs, adding that eligible Coinbase Advanced Trade users in supported regions can still trade these assets via USD order books.
