Michael Saylor responds to the report that "Strategy intends to sell up to $5 billion worth of Bitcoin under authorization": This is old news, and no new authorization has been announced.

Michael Saylor has responded to reports that Strategy plans to authorize the sale of up to $5 billion worth of Bitcoin, calling the news a repackaging of an old announcement. Strategy originally unveiled the relevant authorization on June 29 as part of its capital management framework, Saylor said. The authorization allows the company to sell Bitcoin for pre-defined uses but does not mandate any actual sales, he explained. Strategy has not announced a new sales authorization recently, Saylor added, noting that the firm expects to remain a net buyer of Bitcoin over the long term.

Trump says he received a request from Iran to hold off on an attack, agreeing to cancel the strike on Iran in exchange for a deal.

US President Trump posted, stating, "The United States is ready to confront Iran, with a level of military deterrence, force, and strength not seen since World War II. Even so, we have just received requests from Iran and other Middle Eastern nations asking us to halt any attacks, as a framework of an agreement has been reached. This will include the immediate, full, and complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as ending Iran's nuclear threat. Based on this request, I have agreed to cancel the attacks for the good of the world’s future and the survival of a successful, prosperous Iran, provided an agreement is finalized quickly. The State of Israel has joined me in this commitment. Let’s get to work and complete this task." (Source: Jin10)

US media: Saudi Crown Prince expresses concern over Trump’s plan for large-scale strikes on Iran, urging him to exercise restraint.

According to Axios, two U.S. officials and a person familiar with the matter disclosed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call with U.S. President Trump on Saturday, voicing concerns over his new large-scale plan to strike Iran. Earlier media reports said Trump was seriously considering attacking Iran’s energy targets in the coming days, in response to Iran’s missile attack on a U.S. military base in Jordan and its ongoing disruption of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. However, he has not yet issued a final order as of press time. “The Saudi side expressed concerns and requested a clear action plan,” a U.S. official stated. Another source with knowledge of the call noted that Mohammed bin Salman urged Trump to de-escalate the situation and avoid launching strikes. Saudi Arabia is one of the U.S.’s most vital allies in the region. Though there have been periods of tension over the past five months, Riyadh has influenced Trump’s Iran policy at several key junctures since the outbreak of the conflict. Other regional powers including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Pakistan are also pressuring both the U.S. and Iran to ease tensions. Source: Jinshi
