Among large models with publicly available weights, Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3 reaches 2.8 trillion parameters, making it the world’s largest open-source model. DeepSeek’s planned 8-trillion-parameter model would be nearly three times larger. However, a higher total parameter count does not mean all parameters are called every time the model runs. Animoca Brands and Nasdaq-listed Currenc Group have jointly suspended negotiations on a reverse merger, a plan previously targeted at taking Animoca public. The merger was first announced in November 2025. Animoca stated it remains committed to relisting on major trading platforms, while chairman Yat Siu noted that "corporate flexibility" is currently more important than a merger.
