Oracle (ORCL.N) has launched an AI data platform designed for large-scale enterprise artificial intelligence applications. The company announced an expansion of its cloud AI chip collaboration with NVIDIA (NVDA.O), planning to scale the deployment of AI servers equipped with NVIDIA’s next-generation Vera Rubin chips to the multi-gigawatt level. It will also introduce Google TPU chips, along with AI inference chips from SambaNova Systems and Cerebras Systems, to enrich its computing power supply. Oracle further plans to use its self-developed Acceleron network chips in some NVIDIA servers to replace a portion of NVIDIA’s networking products. The firm stated that different AI workloads have varying computing power needs, and a diversified chip supply helps customers select suitable infrastructure based on performance, throughput and cost. NVIDIA dominates the AI training chip market, while competition in the AI inference market is more diverse.

The Trump administration is considering providing up to $5 billion in financing to Constellation Energy to upgrade and modernize its nuclear reactor facilities in Illinois, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) said the conditional loan commitment will support the projects, which are expected to add nearly 1.1 gigawatts (GW) of power, helping strengthen the grid and reduce costs. Gamdom has not fully recovered from the multi-million-dollar hot wallet theft, and is now facing a new security crisis. Cyber ransomware group Whitearmor claims to hold a database containing 15,420,003 customer accounts, demanding a $15 million Bitcoin ransom to prevent the data from being publicly disclosed. Whitearmor published Gamdom-related information on its ransomware site, asserting access to 146 data fields per account. The group also released a roughly 437KB JSON sample file with around 100 records as evidence of its possession of the data. According to reports, attackers exploited an outdated internal machine account to carry out the attack. The account’s credentials were never rotated, so despite being long-established, it still retained administrator privileges.
