Analysis: Weak demand from U.S. institutions may keep Bitcoin under pressure and range-bound in the short term.

On-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa) has monitored that BTC has broken through the stop-loss price of $80,500 from her "10 Major Targets" strategy. If her positions remain unchanged, she is now facing an unrealized loss of $9.86 million. Earlier, she disclosed holding short positions of 1,830.724 BTC (worth approximately $148 million) with an average entry price of $76,397.56, and short positions of 12,756.739 ETH (worth approximately $32.05 million) with an average entry price of $2,371.57.

According to monitoring by TradingBeats (formerly Hyperinsight), SKHX’s former largest long holder, the smart money address 0xc8b, closed out 26,600 long positions yesterday afternoon. The total execution value of the liquidation was approximately $32.188 million, with an average price of around $1,210.9, generating a profit of roughly $1.952 million. SKHX is currently trading at about $1,154.5. As of this morning, SKHX’s open interest (OI) has decreased by roughly $63.39 million, a 16.4% drop. The scale of this whale’s position exit accounts for approximately half of the total OI decline over the same period. That said, the address has now placed 100 non-reduce-only buy orders in the $1,030–$1,060 range, planning to repurchase 20,000 SKHX contracts with a notional value of around $20.9 million and a weighted average order price of roughly $1,045. This entry range is 8.2% to 10.8% lower than the current price. If all orders are filled, the whale will hold $20.9 million worth of SKHX long positions again, with a new average cost about 13.7% lower than yesterday’s liquidation average. South Korean crypto exchange Upbit operator Dunamu has responded to U.S. listing rumors, confirming it has held discussions with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), but noting that a U.S. listing has not been finalized, nor has the company converted its financial statements to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Dunamu added that it is currently working with Naver Financial to complete a share swap by December 31, with respective valuations of 15 trillion won and 5 trillion won. The swap ratio is roughly 2.54 Naver Financial shares per Dunamu share. Upon completion of the transaction, the two parties plan to set up an IPO committee within a year to pursue the listing. Market observers point to Nasdaq as a potential listing venue, primarily because Naver is already listed on a South Korean exchange; if Dunamu were to list again in South Korea as its subsidiary, it could face regulatory restrictions on "duplicate listings of parent and subsidiary entities." If Dunamu ultimately opts for a U.S. listing, it may do so via American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). The firm’s South Korean legal entity and Upbit operations will remain intact, and user services such as won-denominated deposits and withdrawals are not expected to be directly impacted.
