On-chain treasury protocol Ducat announced in a statement that after careful consideration, its team has decided to gradually wind down the protocol. Ducat was originally designed to maintain a price floor via its mechanism, but many participants failed to fully grasp this mechanism. During the shutdown period, the team will confirm that Ducat is fully backed by treasury assets, with each Ducat token entitling holders to a pro-rata share of the protocol’s treasury assets. All interests related to DUCAT treasury assets—including vested bonds, vested Pass rewards, staked pDUCAT, pDUCAT in cooling period, and circulating DUCAT in wallets—are eligible for redemption, no cooling period wait required. The protocol noted that the team has taken a snapshot of DUCAT holders; holders included in the snapshot can redeem the fair value of their corresponding Ducat from the protocol treasury. Ducat tokens purchased via liquidity pools after the snapshot is completed are not eligible for redemption. The team has also updated the front-end interface to enable smooth redemptions for users.

Analysts surveyed by market tracker FnGuide forecast SK Hynix’s Q3 revenue will reach 98.2 trillion won, with operating profit coming in at 77 trillion won. By comparison, Samsung and SK Hynix’s combined 2025 operating profit stood at 90.8 trillion won, with Samsung’s at 43.6 trillion won and SK Hynix’s at 47.2 trillion won.

California's financial regulators warned that a federal proposal could weaken protections for investors participating in high-risk crypto asset offerings. The California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) publicly expressed opposition to the Crypto Asset Regulation Rule after submitting a comment letter to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Federal securities laws still reserve states the authority to investigate fraud, deceptive practices, and violations by brokers or dealers. California’s core objection is that federal-level restrictions on state-level registration and qualification review requirements could deprive states of their regulatory tools for pre-screening high-risk projects.

According to Coinglass data, Coinbase’s Bitcoin Premium Index has posted negative readings for 33 consecutive days, with the latest figure at -0.1259%, pointing to sustained weak purchasing power in the U.S. market. The Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index tracks the gap between Bitcoin prices on the platform and the global average market price. A negative premium usually signals heavy selling pressure in the U.S. market, falling investor risk appetite, rising market risk aversion, or capital outflows.
