If Bitcoin breaks above $66,000, the mainstream CEX cumulative short liquidation pressure will reach $915 million.
June 13 update — Per Coinglass data, if Bitcoin breaks above $66,000, cumulative short liquidation intensity across major centralized exchanges (CEXs) will total $9.15 billion.
Conversely, if Bitcoin falls below $62,000, cumulative long liquidation intensity across major CEXs will reach $9 billion.
BlockBeats Note: The liquidation chart does not display the exact number of contracts or precise liquidation values being unwound. Instead, its bars represent the relative importance of each liquidation cluster versus adjacent clusters — that is, their intensity.
As such, the chart illustrates how much the underlying asset’s price will be impacted once it hits a specific level. A higher "liquidation bar" signals a stronger price reaction due to a liquidity cascade once that price level is reached.
