Umbra Partners with Streamflow to Launch Private Token Ownership on Solana
On May 27, Umbra and Streamflow launched their private token ownership feature on Solana, enabling projects to securely implement large-scale token ownership and distribution.
Powered by Arcium’s cryptographic execution engine, Streamflow’s clients can keep using their existing distribution mechanisms—including time locks and price triggers—while gaining the ability to conceal actual token transfer records.
Recipients will receive ownership tokens directly to their Umbra wallet, and every new ownership plan added expands Umbra’s shared anonymity pool. This in turn strengthens privacy protection capabilities for users and applications across the entire network.

Pump Fun App Upgrade: Introducing Cross-Chain Frictionless Trading, Supporting Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, and More
Pump.fun announced a major platform upgrade on May 26, officially launching its frictionless cross-chain trading feature. Users can now trade assets across multiple EVM-compatible chains—including Ethereum, Avalanche, and BNB Chain—directly within the app.
The update is built to deliver a unified "one wallet, one asset, multi-chain trading" experience, aiming to cut down on the complexity of cross-chain operations. Key to the new functionality: users transact with a single wallet, no cross-chain bridging required, and they don’t need to hold native gas tokens for individual chains. Pump.fun leverages Solana as its settlement and gas subsidy medium for this system, which also auto-generates multi-chain wallets to let users seamlessly access transactions for various EVM ecosystem assets.
Per the official announcement, this update will make it far easier for users to capitalize on cross-chain market opportunities.

Former New York Fed President: Fed's Reputation as 'Inflation Fighter' at Risk
On May 26, per Bloomberg, former New York Fed President Dudley warned that the Federal Reserve’s reputation as an “inflation fighter” is at risk due to its repeated failure to hit the 2% inflation target over the long term.
“We’ve been running above the Fed’s inflation target for more than five years,” Dudley said. “And there’s a danger that inflation expectations could eventually become unmoored.”
His comments underscore the mounting challenge facing newly appointed Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Powell assumed leadership of the central bank at a time when the Consumer Price Index (CPI) notched its largest one-month jump since 2023, and former President Donald Trump consistently criticized him for failing to ease monetary policy.
Dudley maintains that Powell’s appointment and Trump’s persistent pressure to cut interest rates have only compounded the Fed’s credibility challenge.

Optimism Mainnet Introduces Staking Priority Queue Mechanism, Kicking Off Four-Week Experiment
May 26 — Official sources report that Optimism is rolling out its first-ever adjustment to transaction ordering rules for the OP Mainnet, effective today. For years, the network’s sequencer operated exclusively on a "highest-priority gas fee first" framework, and now an additional staking-based priority option is being introduced.
This four-week experiment runs through June 23, after receiving approval from Optimism’s governing body earlier this month. Participation is optional: users must stake a minimum of 100,000 OP tokens to the PolicyEngineStaking contract to take part.
The experiment is split into two phases:
1. Phase 1 (Week 1): Uses First-In-First-Out (FIFO) ordering, where staking amounts above the threshold do not impact transaction priority.
2. Phase 2 (Weeks 2–4): Shifts to a priority gas multiplier system tied to staking duration, meaning longer lockup periods for stakes will earn higher transaction priority.
For users not joining the experiment, their existing transact
