BNB Chain's decentralized AI API routing protocol BNBRouter is officially launched

May 25th — According to official announcements, BNBRouter, a decentralized AI API routing protocol built on BNB Chain, has officially launched. It supports unified access to over 36 mainstream AI models, including OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek, and Groq, via an OpenAI-format-compatible unified API. Developers can leverage this tool for intelligent routing and automatic failover across multiple model services. Users can top up their API credits using a combination of BNB and BNBR payments, with the BNBR portion automatically burned through on-chain smart contracts. This mechanism forms an on-chain economic model tied directly to AI usage: as AI invocations increase, BNBR undergoes continuous deflation. Additionally, BNBRouter integrates the x402 payment protocol and supports various open-source frameworks, enabling AI Agents to autonomously complete payments, inference calls, and on-chain interactions — further advancing the implementation of Machine-to-Machine AI Economy scenarios.
