May 23 – The Iran Civil Aviation Organization has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for Iranian airspace, temporarily closing all airports in the western part of the Tehran Flight Information Region (FIR) except for 8 airports: Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran Mehrabad International Airport, and six others not specified.
