Justin Sun Makes Online Appearance at HTX Genesis Hackathon: AI Agent is the Core Driver of Web3's Intelligence Transformation

2026.04.21 18:43:21

April 21 — Huobi HTX Global Advisor Justin Sun made a high-profile appearance at the HTX Genesis Hackathon in Hong Kong via a virtual event, where he shared his latest take on AI Agent technology’s application prospects in the Web3 space and the industry’s future trajectory. He noted that AI Agents will replace traditional interaction methods and become the core driver of the next phase of the Web3 ecosystem. He explained that past Web3 apps often came with a steep learning curve and complex on-chain interactions. With AI Agents, decentralized apps (DApps) will evolve from “manual operation” to “intent-driven” via natural language. That means AI Agents can autonomously understand user needs, automatically plan paths, and execute cross-chain transactions and settlements. This shift toward intelligence and autonomy will not only drastically boost on-chain productivity but also serve as a new breakthrough to break through Web3’s user growth bottleneck and lead the industry toward true mass adoption. The HTX Genesis Hackathon — organized by HTX DAO and B.AI, with TinTinLand and OpenCity as co-hosts — drew developers, investment firms, project teams, trading platforms, and public chain ecosystem participants.
