Pi now automatically extends Prompt caching lifespans, cutting redundant Token usage for long-running tasks.

Beating AI News Flash: Pi Agent Harness releases version 0.86.0, adding Prompt Cache Warming. When agents run long-running tool tasks, Pi re-sends the previous request just before the cache expires, generating only 1 token to retain the already cached long context. Many model services clear their prompt cache after a period of inactivity; if tasks resume later, the same long context may be billed as a full input again. Pi now proactively avoids such cache misses, but does not keep caches alive unnecessarily. It first calculates costs: it will only trigger a cache refresh if the estimated savings from avoiding a cache miss minus the refresh cost is at least $0.05. Each refresh itself still incurs charges for reading the full cache segment plus 1 output token.

SlowMist's Yu Xian Warns of Poisoning and Token Theft Risks Tied to ComeCome Takeout App, Recommends Updating iOS Promptly.

SlowMist founder Yu Xian published a post stating that, compared to the case where the FomoPeek App was poisoned on iPhones leading to user crypto asset theft, users should pay more attention to the incident where food delivery app ComeCome used similar poisoning tactics to steal cryptocurrencies. He pointed out that such cases demonstrate that some seemingly legitimate apps may be poisoned, putting users at risk of asset security after use, and the relevant incidents occurred on iPhone devices. Yu Xian advised users to update their iOS systems promptly after new versions are released, adding that similar risks cannot be ruled out for iPads and Macs, and users should remain vigilant at all times.

Multicoin Capital Co-founder: Crypto market is slightly overheated, may face a correction and consolidation.

Multicoin Capital co-founder Tushar Jain wrote in a recent article that current cryptocurrency market sentiment is slightly exuberant, and he would not be surprised if a pullback or period of consolidation follows. He advised investors to adopt a longer time horizon and avoid overtrading, as accurately judging every short-term top or bottom is nearly impossible. A more viable approach, he noted, is holding high-quality assets and waiting for investment theses to gradually materialize.

Are AI-Generated Web Pages Even Usable? Tencent Launches an Evaluation That Automates Web Interaction for Testing

Beating AI Insight News Brief: Tencent Hunyuan has partnered with Tsinghua University and Peking University to launch IWC-Bench, a benchmark specifically designed to evaluate the real usability of AI-generated web pages. Most existing web generation assessments focus on code or screenshots. A page may look visually appealing and have functional code, but issues like unclickable buttons, failed form submissions, or errors when switching pages are hard to detect via static checks. IWC-Bench operates more like a real human acceptance test: it uses an agent to actually open web pages, click buttons, input content, switch pages, and verify which functions work in practice. It evaluates three aspects separately: page aesthetics, operational smoothness, and whether required user functions are implemented. The benchmark includes 369 real user needs and 5088 acceptance criteria, with 17 models generating a total of 6273 web applications. In an additional comparison of 197 manual reviews, IWC-Bench aligned with human choices in 168 cases, achieving an 85.3% consistency rate. The results confirm that a web page "looking good" is not equivalent to being "actually usable". GPT-5.6-Sol has the highest page aesthetics score but ranks only sixth in usability; for individual web pages, visual appeal is largely unrelated to usability, with a correlation coefficient of just 0.36 between the two.
