BNB Chain $100M Incentive Program Upgraded to Support Ecosystem Development through Coin Purchase

2025.04.18 18:48:23

April 18: BNB Chain's $100 Million Plan. After conducting a 3-week trial of the "Listing-to-Boost Liquidity" program, it has now introduced the "Token Direct Purchase" mechanism based on community feedback in order to more comprehensively and directly support the development of ecosystem projects. This plan focuses on BNB Chain's native assets or cross-chain assets. Projects in various tracks that meet the following on-chain data and security requirements have the opportunity to receive a minimum one-time purchase of $100,000: For transaction-driven assets: Market Cap ≥ $1 million; Daily Unique Traders ≥ 300; Daily Trading Volume ≥ $200,000. For TVL-driven assets: Total Value Locked (TVL) ≥ $20 million; Protocol TVL growth serves as the core evaluation criterion. Security requirements: The top 10 External Owned Accounts (EOA) holdings do not exceed 10% of the total supply (excluding CEX and CZ-related wallets); Projects must complete contract verification on BscScan or pass a security audit and undergo multi-risk assessment. The BNB Chain Foundation will select targets from the eligible project pool and make purchases from the foundation's wallet address, with the purchase time being random. Once the transaction is completed, it will be announced through the official account. BNB Chain Foundation Purchase Address: 0x511DfE9E248c887E32ca8bF9d1cb76f101965060 The upgraded $100 million incentive plan reflects BNB Chain's continuous commitment to supporting builders and creating long-term value for the ecosystem during market fluctuations.

An anonymous seller is listing a data center loan portfolio worth approximately $500 million for sale.

An anonymous seller is auctioning a roughly $500 million data center loan portfolio via a bidding process, comprising over a dozen loans. Bids are due by November 19, with a minimum offer of $10 million per bid. The portfolio includes a $25 million stake in the New Mexico Stargate project, a joint initiative by OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle—the site where Oracle issued a force majeure notice. The auction, which followed the Democrats’ landslide victory in the U.S. midterm elections, is seen as a landmark event signaling the credit market’s growing pessimism over AI infrastructure expansion and hedge funds’ large-scale sell-off of AI-related debt. Analysts identify the anonymous seller as hedge fund Walleye. Separately, news yesterday revealed Walleye Capital is restructuring its internal equity business and preparing to return capital to investors. The $17 billion hedge fund, which posted its worst monthly performance since March 2020, is parting ways with its long-short equity leadership team and multiple portfolio managers.
