The TRON block reward halving proposal has now officially taken effect, with an estimated annual deflation rate of 1.29%.

BlockBeats news, on June 13th, according to official channels, the TRON block reward halving proposal has now officially taken effect. This proposal indicates a reduction in block rewards from 16 TRX to 8 TRX and a decrease in voting rewards from 160 TRX to 128 TRX. A series of tokenomics proposals implemented on the TRON network have had a significant impact on the supply structure of TRX, transitioning it from an inflationary state to a deflationary model. However, recent trends suggest a potential rebound. Specifically, after the total energy limit was increased from August to October 2024, the net supply increase of TRX has shown a gradual upward trend in the past few months, indicating that inflation may once again start to rise. The proposal underwent extensive and in-depth discussions on Github and during multiple core developer community calls before finally reaching a consensus. In the early days, TRX block rewards effectively incentivized staking and trading activities on t

Opinion: Market Sentiment Remains Exceptionally Cautious, Surge in Ethereum Leverage Demand

On June 11th, although Bitcoin's price recovered to be close to its all-time high of $110,000, Vetle Lunde, the head of research at K33, pointed out that the market sentiment remains unusually cautious, and traders generally lack a risk appetite. Funding rate indicators show that Binance's BTC/USDT perpetual futures had a negative daily funding rate on both last Friday and Sunday, and the weekly funding rate was only 1.3% annualized. Such conditions usually occur near localized bottoms. Historical data indicates that Bitcoin does not reach its peak during periods of negative funding rates, and this positioning often indicates potential for further upside ahead. Meanwhile, Ethereum speculators are "eager for leverage." As the 2x leveraged ETH ETF of VolatilityShares is becoming increasingly popular. Since April 8th, the fund has added an exposure equivalent to 305,100 ETH, which accounts for 18.3% of US ETH ETF holdings and two-thirds of CME ETH open interest. Kraken's head of derivativ

Bitfinex Analyst: Bitcoin May Experience a Short-Term Pullback; Lacking Strong Catalysts Could Make It Difficult for Bitcoin to Reach New Highs

On June 10, as per a report by Cointelegraph, the analysts at Bitfinex stated, "The likelihood of a short-term correction in Bitcoin is on the rise. This is especially the case when there are no strong catalysts propelling Bitcoin to clearly surpass its current all-time high." In the absence of robust macroeconomic or structural upward catalysts, Bitcoin is extremely vulnerable to short-term retracements. Particularly in situations where long-term holders decide to distribute their holdings in anticipation of strength. Bitcoin holders are currently at a critical juncture regarding whether to sell. Market participants who have been holding Bitcoin since the first quarter of 2025, even as the price dropped significantly below $80,000, are now being tested as Bitcoin consolidates near its historical highs.

Although the number is astonishing, Tether hopes to remain modest but is also extremely excited about the company's next stage of growth. The current operating model is quite favorable, and there is no immediate need to go public.

Analyst: Strong Wage Data Will Further Dampen Rate Cut Expectations

On June 6th, analysts from institutions gave their comments on the US non-farm payroll report. They stated, "Positive wage data in the US may further lower expectations of rate cuts and have a negative impact on the front end of the yield curve. Overall, we believe that the employment data has reinforced our view of the Fed's 'holding the line' - at least until the fourth quarter of this year." The analysts pointed out that the slight rise in wages, coupled with the stable 4.2% unemployment rate, clearly indicates that the Fed will remain on hold. As a result, the probability of a Fed rate cut in September, which was fully priced in earlier this week, has dropped to around 75%. (FXStreet)

The U.S. Saw a Surprising Increase in Job Openings in April, Supporting the Federal Reserve's View of a Strong Labor Market

June 3rd: Unexpectedly, in April, the number of job openings in the United States witnessed a substantial increase. There was also a notable rise in hiring activities. This indicates that although economic uncertainty is on the rise, the demand for workers remains strong. On Tuesday, the data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that job openings increased from the revised 7.2 million in March to 7.39 million in April, surpassing the expected 7.1 million. The rise in job openings, along with steady hiring and a low unemployment rate, supported the Federal Reserve's claim about a healthy job market. However, unemployed individuals are likely to take longer to find jobs. Economists anticipate that in the coming months, under the heavy burden of President Trump's trade tariffs, there will be a more obvious softening in the labor market. (FXStreet)

Bitfinex Report: Bitcoin Market Structure Still Strong, Correction Possibly Healthy Adjustment Rather Than Trend Break

On June 2nd, Bitfinex issued a report stating that "Bitcoin is experiencing its first substantial pullback since the April low. Previously, its price had been on a nearly 50-day consecutive upward surge with very little pullback, rising from $74,501 to a record high of $111,880, representing a more than 50% increase. This pullback marks a change in the upward momentum and is not merely a technical correction - it is also affected by renewed macroeconomic pressure. The unexpected reimplementation of tariffs by the US government led to the 30-year US Treasury yield exceeding 5%, triggering a shift in market risk sentiment towards a 'flight to safety' mode." Meanwhile, the Bitcoin derivatives market also shows some signs of overheating. The open interest in options has reached a record high of $49.4 billion, indicating enhanced institutional activities and increased hedging and speculation after Bitcoin hit a new all-time high. This position structure suggests that the market expects inc

This move is likely to disrupt the traditional financial market trading hour constraints, open up a global on-chain channel for funds to enter the US stock market, and make a key advancement in "on-chain of real-world assets." Bitunix analyst's recommendation: This is a significant case of Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization, which will promote the integration of on-chain assets with traditional finance. It is recommended to pay attention to RWA and ecosystem tokenization-related assets such as ETH, LINK, ONDO, and POLY. At the same time, closely monitor the collaboration and fund movements of t

The key points are as follows: whether Justin Sun's $75 million investment in WLF is related to the suspension of the SEC lawsuit, the compliance of WLF's stablecoin USD1 in Binance's $20 billion trading, and the issue of Trump Meme coin holders participating in a presidential banquet for influence peddling. Last week, Democratic Congressman Ritchie Torres introduced legislation to prohibit the president and members of Congress from making profits through Meme coins. Bank of America stated: "Before the Geneva meeting, investor sentiment is relatively low, especially with a bearish stance towards US assets. Although the May survey showed a slight improvement in market sentiment compared to April, it still remains very negative, suggesting a potential moderate increase in 'pain trade'." However, their reduction in holdings of the US dollar has reached the highest level since May 2006. Bank of America pointed out that 75% of the data in this survey was collected before the Geneva talks. (FXStreet)

Trader Eugene: Bitcoin is very likely to test its all-time high, with altcoins expected to experience a strong rebound

May 10th. Renowned trader Eugene Ng Ah Sio took to his personal channel and stated that although he accurately predicted the direction of this recent price surge, his actual trading execution fell short. He was forced out by the volatility and placed a stop-loss before the market began to rise. The risk control strategy he had previously employed to manage losses also led him to miss out on this upward opportunity. This month, the market has rewarded those who had the courage to take risks. At that time, there was hardly a perfect entry point, and essentially, one had to be confident in the upward movement before going long. Looking ahead, this rise to $100,000 has validated the previous support reversal at $90,000. Now, we must consider that the market is likely to once again test its all-time high. This was not the anticipated situation, but funds from MicroStrategy and ETFs seem to be continuously flowing in. In contrast, until yesterday, most of the veteran players in the crypto m

As per the information available, President Trump of the US is striving to increase the tax rate for some of the wealthiest Americans in order to offset other tax cuts within his notable economic plan. The US Commerce Secretary Lutnick expressed that he "is in favor of" this action. Trump's proposal suggests establishing a new 39.6% tax bracket for those with an individual annual income of at least $2.5 million or couples with an income of $5 million. If this is approved by Congress, it will bring the highest tax rate back to the level prior to Trump's 2017 tax cut policy. Currently, the top individual tax rate is 37%. According to Bloomberg, Trump made this request during a call to House Speaker Johnson on Wednesday, emphasizing his desire to eliminate the carried interest tax break that venture capital and private equity fund managers enjoy. However, a large number of Republican lawmakers are opposed to raising the top tax rate, and Trump requires the support of almost al

Analysis: Euro Area Economy Stronger Than Expected, But Potential Growth Momentum Has Significantly Weakened

On April 30th, the data indicates that the Eurozone economy witnessed a faster growth than anticipated in the first quarter, presenting a mild improvement at the outset of 2025. Eurostat announced that driven by the swift economic growth in Spain, the GDP of the Eurozone in Q1 increased by 0.4%, outperforming the expected 0.2%. Nevertheless, the potential growth trend has significantly weakened as the data was skewed by Ireland's 3.2% growth, mainly attributed to the activities of large foreign companies in Ireland for tax purposes. Germany, the largest economy in Europe, only saw a 0.2% growth in its GDP, France grew by 0.1%, and Italy grew by 0.3%. This indicates that excluding Ireland, the economic growth of the Eurozone is close to the economists' expectation of 0.2%. The European Central Bank has stated that apart from the trade war, the financial market turmoil triggered by U.S. policies and the widespread deterioration of market sentiment will all restrain economic growth. Meanwhile, regarding Ethereum, the activity of first-time buyers has witnessed a significant rebound for the first time since February. Additionally, the momentum buyer activity over the past 7 days has been on the rise. However, the activity of profit takers is also increasing, which provides context for the recent slowdown in the recovery of the ETH price.
