BlockSec’s preliminary analysis attributes the root cause of the vulnerability to the non-injective encoding method used by the TreasuryCheck verifier for signed messages: 14 variable-length fields were directly concatenated to generate the message to be signed, without using separators or length prefixes. This allowed different field combinations to produce identical byte sequences, enabling attackers to reuse valid signatures to carry out the exploit.
