According to official sources, Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) recorded a trading volume exceeding $126 million yesterday, hitting an all-time high. The total trading volume of BSOL over the past seven trading days has reached $500 million. Separately, HTX market data shows that SOL’s price crossed $110 last night and is currently trading at $108.8.

Abu Dhabi royal family member and UAE National Security Advisor Tahnoon bin Zayed al Nahyan, together with co-investors, hold a 49% stake in WLTC Holdings, the new banking holding company of World Liberty Financial, making them the largest shareholder. Trump family-linked entities hold approximately 38% of the stake. This month, the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has granted preliminary conditional approval for World Liberty to establish a national trust bank, which will handle the issuance, redemption, and custody of its stablecoin USD1. Ledger disclosed details of the LSB 023 security vulnerability on its official website yesterday. Applications built partially on the Ledger Secure SDK may still receive new APDU commands while users complete screen confirmation, resulting in a mismatch between parameters displayed on the screen and those used for the final signature. If an attacker controls APDU communication between the device and host, after a user confirms the operation shown on the screen, the device may generate a signature for different parameters. Ledger noted that it has fixed the issue via application-level checks and SDK layer patches, releasing Ledger Secure SDK v26.6.1 on August 21. Related applications have been rebuilt and re-released. Users must update the applications via Ledger Live; updating only the device firmware is insufficient to resolve the flaw. However, Ledger added there is currently no evidence that the vulnerability has been exploited in real-world scenarios.

Crypto miner IREN, which is transitioning to the neocloud business, released its fiscal 2026 results after market close today. The company posted Q4 revenue of $137.2 million, below Wall Street’s forecast of $157.14 million. Its adjusted EBITDA stood at $19.2 million, roughly 53% lower than expected. Sequentially, AI cloud service revenue rose from $33.6 million to $70.5 million, while Bitcoin mining revenue fell from $111.2 million to $66.7 million. In response to the news, IREN’s stock dropped more than 8% in after-hours trading.

According to sources familiar with the matter, federal authorities are preparing to sue a U.S. service member accused of betting on military operations on the Polymarket platform and reaping over $1 million in profits, part of an upcoming wave of insider trading cases. The service member, who has been under scrutiny since spring, successfully wagered on events linked to military strikes against Iran and Venezuela on the prediction market, sources said. This is one of multiple probes targeting service members involved in trading so-called "war contracts"—contracts tied to the timing and outcomes of military actions. According to sources, Venezuela is seriously reviewing plans to exit OPEC. Discussions regarding the withdrawal have been held with U.S. officials, though no final decision has been made. Some U.S. officials envision building a "petro superpower" through an alliance between the U.S. and Venezuela, which would significantly weaken OPEC's influence. Another source familiar with the matter said that despite Venezuela's oil production plummeting sharply in recent years, the country is currently not subject to OPEC's output limits. However, exempting Venezuela from any potential future production quotas would help it maximize output in the long run, thereby lowering oil prices, while the U.S. would also be able to advance its plans for Venezuelan oil.
