According to monitoring from EmberCN, a whale or institutional entity that redeemed 2.886 million HYPE from staking at the end of July has transferred 923,700 HYPE (valued at $53.03 million) into Coinbase Prime and FalconX. The entity staked the full 2.886 million HYPE in early last year at an average price of just approximately $19.79. These tokens were redeemed from staking at the end of July and subsequently transferred to the two platforms. To date, 1.956 million HYPE (worth $110 million) have been moved out. The entity’s total profit amounts to $109 million, with 969,000 HYPE (valued at $55.73 million) still remaining in its address.

According to a post by Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich, Metaplanet has launched the "BitBonds" bond issuance program and completed its first batch of issuances. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary Metaplanet Securities, the company issued the 21st to 24th series of unsecured ordinary bonds under Japan’s small-scale private placement system, totaling approximately 200 million yen. Gerovich noted that the small-scale issuance is primarily a pilot, designed to establish the framework for BitBonds’ subsequent issuance, distribution, and management. BitBonds are unsecured ordinary bonds and are not collateralized by Bitcoin held by Metaplanet. Metaplanet will leverage its Bitcoin reserve balance sheet and its subsidiary securities firm’s capabilities in financial product issuance, distribution, and management to further build out its related financial product platform.

According to monitoring by Onchain Lens, a whale opened a long position of 200.8 Bitcoin on Hyperliquid roughly an hour ago, valued at approximately $12.75 million at the time, with a leverage ratio of 40x and a liquidation price of $55,380. The trader has accumulated a profit of $1.95 million over the past 30 days.

According to Bitget's market data, Japanese chip-related stocks have surged sharply: Kioxia's share price rose 6.9%, SoftBank gained 6.2%, and Advantest climbed 6.5%.
