U.S. energy company Bloom Energy, which specializes in powering AI data centers, released its Q2 2026 financial results: total revenue reached $1.065 billion, up 165.5% year-over-year; adjusted EPS was $0.78. Product revenue hit $935.4 million, growing 215.4% from $296.6 million in the year-ago period. Gross margin stood at 33.4%, rising 668 basis points from 26.7% in the same period last year. Non-GAAP gross margin was 34.3%, up 604 basis points year-over-year. Operating income came in at $182.2 million, an increase of $185.7 million from an operating loss of $3.5 million in the year-ago quarter. The company expects long-term agreements will not lead to oversupply; terms of these deals vary, but typically span 5 years. SK Hynix pledged to solidify its leading position in the high-bandwidth memory (HBM) sector via long-term contracts. It projects bit shipment growth in the second half of the year will outpace that of the first half. The product sales mix impacted the second quarter’s average selling price (ASP). The company is on track to commence mass production of HBM4E starting in 2027.

Trade.xyz has issued an announcement regarding the SK Hynix contract pinning incident: At 23:01 UTC on July 27, the SK Hynix token mark price plummeted from $1,127.9 to $917.25, triggering mass liquidations of long positions. The price stemmed from an actual executed trade captured by multiple independent data providers; the external venue is a major South Korean pre-market. The platform’s oracle system operated per established specifications, synchronously tracking prices from external exchanges and functioning "as designed" technically. However, the exchange acknowledged that user dissatisfaction with the resulting liquidations is understandable, stressing that "market integrity is Trade.xyz’s core value". Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev stated that his X account was hacked last week. Attackers used social engineering to deceive X customer support, bypassing security measures including two-factor authentication and login alerts, and posted fake content related to meme coins. X’s security team assisted in quickly removing the posts and restoring account access the same day. The platform has since implemented additional security protections for the account to prevent similar incidents. Robinhood-linked on-chain meme token CASHCAT has officially launched its launch platform letscash.fun. The platform operates two models: Creator Mode, where 70% of tokens go to creators and 30% to the protocol; Self-Destruct Mode, where the same 70% is used to buy and burn tokens.
