Stripe-owned wallet infrastructure Privy adds support for spending using DeFi-native assets.

Stripe’s wallet infrastructure subsidiary Privy has launched a feature enabling users to spend assets deposited in decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. Users grant Stripe authorization to withdraw stablecoins from DeFi platforms for payment settlement, while developers can build co-branded debit cards leveraging this functionality. The prepaid Visa debit card is issued by Lead Bank and managed by Stripe.
