June 18 update: Per Hyperinsight monitoring, as of press time, only one whale on the Hyperliquid platform has opened a position and is currently holding a multi-million-dollar BTC position. This particular whale had previously gone long on crude oil during the U.S.-Iran conflict, took a substantial loss, exited the trade, and remained inactive for roughly half a month. Last night, this wallet address deposited $465,000 back into Hyperliquid and shorted 237.6 BTC with 30x leverage, resulting in a position worth approximately $15.5 million, with an average entry price of $65,207. The short position now carries unrealized gains of around $320,000, marking a 63% return. The whale plans to trigger a market stop-loss if BTC rises to roughly $71,604. Robinhood Soars Over 10% Intraday, On-Chain HOOD Whale Shows 472% Unrealized Gain

June 18, per Hyperinsight Monitor (https://t.me/HyperInsight), a Hyperliquid trader opened a 10x long position on HOOD (Robinhood). The current position size is $2.08 million, with unrealized gains of roughly $660,000, an average entry price of $73, a 472% return rate—meaning the initial investment has more than quadrupled. On the market front, HOOD on Hyperliquid has risen 10.4% over the past 24 hours. During U.S. after-hours trading, it continued to trade at high levels, currently sitting at $107.5. Since hitting its low earlier this month, HOOD has accumulated an overall gain of about 35%. The rally is mainly driven by reports that the SEC is considering advancing the "Tokenized Stock Innovative Exemption" policy. If implemented, this rule would allow cryptocurrency companies to offer blockchain-based versions of traditional stocks, enabling 24/7 trading and near-instant settlement. The Federal Reserve "Hawkish Turn" Leads to Stock Market Plunge, Is It Still a Good Time to Invest in US Stocks?

June 18, the Federal Reserve’s latest dot plot delivered a hawkish signal, leading markets to recalibrate expectations for future interest rate cuts. In his first public remarks as Fed Chair, Jerome Powell emphasized the need to stay vigilant about inflation risks and confirmed that monetary policy will remain focused on achieving price stability. Consequently, the three major U.S. stock indexes pulled lower in late trading, with technology and growth sectors under pressure. Market analysts note this recent correction is primarily driven by investors repricing the future interest rate trajectory, rather than any meaningful deterioration in economic fundamentals. Against the backdrop of the Federal Reserve’s evolving policy framework, global markets may enter a new cycle of volatility. For investors, balancing exposure to U.S. equities with cross-market, multi-asset allocation to diversify risks is becoming an increasingly critical investment strategy. As a global one-stop multi-asse

Analysis: If the Strategy must sell BTC to pay dividends, it may face a downward spiral risk

June 18th: CryptoQuant analyst Maartunn posted that at current Bitcoin prices, Strategy’s BTC reserves are enough to cover its dividend payments for roughly 32 years. However, if Strategy has to sell BTC to make those dividend payments, that selling pressure could drive Bitcoin’s price down. A lower Bitcoin price would in turn shrink the value of its BTC reserves, cutting short the 32-year coverage period Maartunn highlighted. Put another way, if this cycle continues, there’s a risk it could turn into a downward spiral. As previously reported, Strategy’s preferred stock STRC has drifted sharply from its peg, hitting a recent low of $88.9. This significant deviation signals the market is demanding higher yields and has lost confidence in Strategy’s credit or dividend stability. Historically, Strategy relied heavily on issuing STRC to fund Bitcoin purchases. When STRC trades below face value, issuing new shares is no longer cost-effective for the company—effectively borrowing money at a

Jack Dorsey's Block launches AI-native tool Builderbot, capable of handling 15% of code work

June 18: Jack Dorsey’s financial services company Block unveiled a new set of AI-native tools dubbed Builderbot on Wednesday. According to Block, the tool currently handles roughly 15% of the firm’s production code changes, performs over 200,000 operations daily, and merges around 1,500 pull requests each week. Brad Axen, Block’s Head of AI Capability, explained that Builderbot is best thought of as “the missing link between AI coding tools and the actual large-scale daily operations of an engineering team.” Block added that work that once took months to complete can now be finished in just a few days thanks to Builderbot. Builderbot functions as an orchestration layer coordinating multiple AI agents across Block’s entire codebase. Unlike coding assistants limited to a single code repository, Builderbot has full context of Block’s entire system—including every service, API, and internal convention—letting any engineer make changes anywhere in the company’s infrastructure.
