Japanese Cryptocurrency ETF Expected to Launch Next Year

April 30 — The Japan Exchange Group (JPX) said that if legal amendments are approved, the earliest a cryptocurrency-tracking ETF could list is next year. Hiromi Yamaji, CEO of JPX (the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s operator), noted: “Asset management firms have shown strong interest in launching cryptocurrency ETF products.
