Justin Sun deposited around $200 million to Lighter, with some of the funds used to buy LIT

On December 30, MLM Monitor reported that following Justin Sun’s deposit of roughly $200 million into Lighter LLP, he withdrew approximately 5.2 million USDC from a single wallet. A portion of those funds was used to purchase about 1.66 million LIT tokens, which are currently valued at around $4.65 million. Additionally, roughly 1.2 million USDC remains in his spot account.

EWCL will subscribe to 7 million shares of Cango’s Class B common stock at $1.50 per share, with each share carrying 20 votes. Post-transaction, EWCL’s ownership stake in Cango is expected to rise from approximately 2.81% to around 4.69%, while its voting power will increase from roughly 36.68% to about 49.61%. Cango CEO Paul Yu noted the funding will be used to boost Bitcoin mining operational capabilities, enhance hash rate efficiency, upgrade mining equipment, and selectively acquire strategic mining assets.
