Lighter Private Sale AMA Summary: Community allocation will account for 50% of the token supply, and there will be a token buyback mechanism

2025.12.27 14:31:05

On December 27, @Pilla_eth—Lighter’s Head of Marketing—shared key details about the project’s Token Generation Event (TGE) during an AMA focused on “Lighter TGE.” Highlights included: 1. The TGE and airdrop are set for 2025. The airdrop will account for 25% of the total token supply, with no lock-up restrictions—and recipients won’t need to claim it. Tokens will be directly deposited into Lighter wallet holders’ accounts. 2. 50% of the total token supply is earmarked for the community, with full tokenomics details rolling out gradually. A token buyback is planned, though the exact amount hasn’t been finalized. “This will drive value back to the token,” @Pilla_eth noted. 3. Initially, LIT tokens will only be tradeable on the Lighter platform. Coinbase and Bybit have added LIT to their listing roadmaps, and Lighter will not pay for these listings. 4. Lighter has no official NFTs, though the team recognizes community-made NFTs like Fuego. Rumors of a meme coin airdrop are untrue, per the update. Additionally, @Pilla_eth teased that Lighter is developing a mobile app “powerful enough to go head-to-head with centralized exchange (CEX) apps.”

Iran: New 'Surprise' Prepared for Battle in the Coming Days

**March 23 (via CCTV International News) — Multiple Iranian media outlets, citing military sources, reported Wednesday that Iran has prepared a "new surprise" for upcoming days of potential conflict—one that could have "significant effect."** The sources claimed U.S. President Donald Trump’s "all military options have failed," and he is seeking an exit by shifting the conflict from the actual battlefield to social media. Trump is aware his military "ammunition is in a very poor state" — unable to secure a military victory or reopen the Strait of Hormuz — so he has resorted to verbal attacks that will only leave him "more disgraced," the sources added. Contrary to Trump’s empty promises, Iran has planned a "surprise operation" for the next few days that will further clarify the conflict’s outcome, the sources said. They advised Trump to "temporarily put down his phone and social media and focus on the sky, the stock market, and oil prices."
