2025.11.12 21:32:33

November 12th: Presently, Tang Kriang Kai, a Cambodian Chinese national and a transnational criminal engaged in an illegal blockchain fundraising project, was accompanied by the Thai police to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and extradited to China. Prior to this, on November 10th, the Office of the Attorney General of Thailand declared that the Appeals Court affirmed the ruling of the first-instance court to extradite Tang Kriang Kai to China for trial regarding his illegal activities such as operating an illegal casino, which violated Chinese law. Tang Kriang Kai's principal crime was to establish and operate 239 illegal gambling websites, with the involved funds amounting to more than 1.263 trillion Thai Baht (approximately RMB 2.77 trillion). He had been engaged in gambling and telecom fraud activities for a long time in Myanmar's Myawaddy KK Special Economic Zone and the "Asia Pacific New City," luring Chinese citizens to participate in illegal transactions through online platforms. Tang Kriang Kai also constructed the Asia Pacific New City in the Dawei Special Economic Zone on the Thai-Myanmar border, claiming that the project was the first landing project of blockchain technology for global financing. Nevertheless, it was actually involved in online gambling and telecom fraud operations.

Trump: Seriously Considering Withdrawing from NATO, Calling NATO a "Paper Tiger"

On April 1st, per the UK’s *The Daily Telegraph*, former President Trump said he’s seriously weighing U.S. withdrawal from NATO after the alliance declined to join his proposed conflict with Iran. He labeled NATO a “paper tiger” and claimed U.S. exit from the alliance is “no longer necessary to consider.” This marks the strongest signal yet that the White House no longer views Europe as a reliable defense partner—after allies rejected his request to deploy warships to reactivate operations in the Strait of Hormuz. Asked if he’d rethink U.S. NATO membership after the conflict ends, Trump responded: “I’d say that’s no longer necessary to consider. I’ve never been convinced by NATO—always knew they’re a paper tiger, and Putin knows that too, by the way.” He added: “We’ve been on autopilot this whole time, including with Ukraine. Ukraine isn’t our problem. This was a test: we supported them there, but they didn’t support us.” (FX Street)
