Coinbase CEO Confirms Base is Exploring Issuance of its Native Token

On September 15th, Brian Armstrong, the co-founder and CEO of Coinbase, stated in a post, "We are conducting exploration into issuing the native token of the Base network. It has the potential to serve as a significant tool to expedite decentralization and drive the growth of creators and developers within the ecosystem. It should be emphasized that there is currently no definite plan. We are merely updating our vision. Up to now, we are still in the exploration stage."
