CertiK Co-Founder Zhong Shao Attends Web3 Scholar Summit, Unveils LiDO Framework to Tackle BFT Consensus Security Challenge

On April 8th, during the 2025 Web3 Scholar Summit, Professor Zhong Shao, who is the Chair of the Yale University Computer Science Department and a Co-Founder of CertiK, publicly presented the LiDO model and the LiDO-DAG extension framework for the first time. This remarkable achievement, by means of a three-layer refined verification framework (security abstraction layer, liveness assurance layer, DAG extension layer), offers mechanized verifiability of security and liveness proofs for complex Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus protocols, with the aim of enhancing the reliability and scalability of the Web3 ecosystem.
