Binance has released its 7th security incident recovery progress update, confirming that user funds are safe in this event, and all losses from stolen funds will be covered by the exchange. Approximately 98% of the affected assets have been replenished so far. Binance has reserved over 100% of the total required assets from its own funds, and will continue to acquire the remaining 2% of tokens via on-exchange and over-the-counter (OTC) trading channels. The full zero-knowledge proof is expected to take 50 to 60 hours to generate; once ready, users holding relevant tokens can independently verify their account balances are backed by at least a 1:1 reserve.
