He Yi: Work computers are equipped with strict download monitoring, and more than 50 attacks have been blocked so far this year.

Binance CEO He Yi has again responded to discussions over security incidents and internal device management, noting: "The rule prohibiting personal use of work computers in the employee code is designed to prevent hackers, and there is strict monitoring of downloads. This year, we have intercepted more than 50 attacks. Offensive and defensive operations are a process of continuous iteration for both sides; this time the monitoring failed because hackers are also evolving."

Annual enterprise AI spending surged 5.4-fold to $177 billion, with Anthropic securing 55% of the model API budget.

Beating AI News Flash: Menlo Ventures Releases 2026 Enterprise AI Report. According to its estimates, as of September this year, the global enterprise AI deployment market’s annualized spending reached $176.8 billion, 5.4 times the $33 billion recorded last year. This growth is driven primarily by increased spending from existing customers. The survey shows the share of paying enterprises rose from 55% to 65%, while average AI spending among surveyed firms has jumped to 4.7 times last year’s level—compared to their original plan of only a 1.9x increase when setting budgets at the start of the year. AI Agents are a key driver of the spending surge. Previously, model calls were mostly initiated manually by employees; now, Agents can execute tasks continuously, call multiple models in parallel, and keep consuming tokens even without human operation. Data from OpenRouter shows Agents now account for 80% of the platform’s token consumption. The gap between model vendors is widening. Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google together hold 69% of enterprise AI deployment spending, up from 50% last year. For large language model (LLM) API spending alone, Anthropic’s share rose from 40% to 55%, OpenAI’s from 27% to 31%, while Google’s dropped from 21% to 9%. In the AI programming tools market, Claude Code and Codex together capture 70% of spending.

Anthropic’s Claude is developing its own chips, and the company is showcasing this capability to prospective IPO investors.

Beating AI News Flash: As Anthropic races toward its IPO, it has unveiled a new selling point to investors: using Claude to design AI chips. The company’s in-house chip team, which numbers just 15 people, has already applied Claude to actual engineering design work. Engineers noted that some tasks took less time than their estimates for workflows from traditional chip makers like NVIDIA and AMD. Anthropic first announced its in-house chip development back in August, and is now showcasing Claude’s chip-design capabilities to IPO investors. If Claude can not only support its own chip R&D but also offer design tools to other semiconductor firms, it could tap into a market worth tens of billions of dollars. Currently, the combined annual revenue of chip design software giants Synopsys and Cadence is estimated at roughly $160 billion. This prospect has already moved the market: On November 3, Synopsys and Cadence’s stock prices fell around 4% at one point during trading. Rival OpenAI is also positioning itself in the space: it has used its own models to assist in developing the Jalape?o chip, and signed a multi-year partnership with Synopsys to develop AI models specifically for chip design.

Republicans lose control of Congress, WLFI may become the first subject of investigation into the Trump family's crypto business.

Today, the U.S. midterm elections resulted in the Democratic Party regaining control of the House of Representatives. California Democratic Representative Robert Garcia will serve as Chair of the House Oversight Committee, responding to the election outcome with "Lawyer up" and stating the committee will focus on issues including the "Trump crime family" and corporate corruption. Garcia told media the committee will review the Trump family’s cryptocurrency transactions, Donald Trump Jr.’s business dealings, and cases where relatives like Jared Kushner have served on corporate boards or secured contracts. He also claimed Trump’s crypto-related businesses have generated over $1 billion in revenue for the Trump family. The Trump family’s crypto firm, World Liberty Financial, is likely to be a primary target of scrutiny. Democrats previously noted a UAE royal invested approximately $500 million in the company last year. The firm is seeking a national banking license that requires approval from relevant U.S. Treasury Department authorities. The Democrats also plan to launch inquiries and issue subpoenas to relevant companies and donors starting in February next year.
