Binance founder CZ told CoinDesk in an interview: "These days, we see multiple security incidents occurring almost simultaneously on a daily basis. Therefore, I believe all industry participants must step up their ongoing application of AI technology in security protection. At the same time, the entire sector needs to establish some kind of unified standard to enable cross-party collaboration in addressing security threats. Currently, the industry is discussing forming an industry alliance, though few specific details have been released. We are very willing to advance this effort. In the short term, I expect more platforms will be hacked going forward. I hope any such incidents will result in far smaller losses, be managed more effectively, and leave no users out of pocket. But long-term, the industry must now leverage AI to bolster security defenses. I hope that in the medium term and beyond, we can build a more robust security framework."

Following a sharp rally in international oil prices this year, Jeff Currie, a prominent investor with a long-term bullish stance on the energy market, is now advising investors to lock in short-term profits. However, he has not altered his long-term outlook for the energy sector, arguing that a structural energy supercycle driven by deglobalization, electrification, and currency devaluation remains intact, with investment opportunities shifting from crude oil itself to energy infrastructure and supply chain resilience. Currie, founder and CEO of Real Macro, previously served as chief energy strategist at The Carlyle Group and Goldman Sachs, and is widely known as the "Godfather of Commodities". He has been consistently bullish on oil since the COVID-19 pandemic, and doubled down on that stance following the outbreak of the Iran crisis this year. Yet, in a post on social platform X, he noted that now is the time to take partial profits on short-term trades, citing two key reasons: first, oil prices have risen too fast and too far; second, further escalation of tensions in the Strait of Hormuz will have mutually devastating consequences for both sides of the conflict. Currie refers to spot crude oil and short-dated futures contracts as "prompt oil". He suggests investors consider locking in profits on these trades as well as their refined product positions. Brent crude has risen roughly 75% year-to-date, which he says has delivered ample returns for investors.

ING Bank believes the U.S. dollar could weaken in the short term if the Democratic Party wins control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate in Tuesday’s U.S. midterm elections. “If the Democrats take control of both chambers, the dollar could face some near-term pressure,” strategists including Francesco Pesole said in a report. “The market has fully priced in the expectation that Republicans will lose control of the House, but only partially priced in the scenario of a Democratic sweep of both chambers.”
